Neewer 20x5 feet/6x1.5 meters Nylon Silk White... Purchased this to try to make additional diffuser panels for softboxs as the strobes (DE300) are far too bright. The material is just woven nylon, It is hemmed on all sides but the sewing leaves a lot to be desired, my sewing is far better. If cutting the fabric as I did, you will need to hem the cut edges as it frays very badly. I cut the sheet into three pieces, two, double the width of my softboxs and the leftover piece, then hemmed the edges by folding over the cut edges 1cm and ironing it, folding 1cm again and ironing again. The hems were then sewed on an electric sewing machine. The material sews and irons easily and the packaging wrinkes are easily ironed out. Just remember it is nylon so don't have the iron too hot. A double layer of this material on the front of my softbox reduced the light by approx. 1.5 stops.

Perfect replacement for the diffuser on my Bowens Wafer softbox . Needed a few sewing skills but a couple of hours later I had a brand new cover and the white balance (colour of the light) was back to a pristine value (unlike the old and yellowed diffuser) . Big sheet bought as it will enable to undertake some more light bank projects. Good value.
