Maybe the best monitor in its price range.
Very good monitor. I must say that my other monitor was a budget HP, which had good colors but was a bit small for me. 27", in my opinion, are perfect for productivity and gaming, as long as your GPU is powerful enough. The bezels are thin, with tactile buttons, the stand feels solid and plenty of degrees of freedom to move the screen around. Discrete, looks almost like an office monitor, perfect if you don't like all of the "gaming" aesthetic. The screen is IPS, 2560x1440. Being an IPS, it shows a bit of glow, but nothing of concern even with dark themes. If you want super dark blacks, you'll need to wait for microLED or OLED screens, but it will still take a while. The colors are intense and bright, but luckily the lowest brightness setting is good enough for dark rooms. Not a single bit of PWM flickering even at low brightness. Pixel size is small enough to show crisp text but big enough to use it with 100% UI scaling in Windows and Linux. Movies and games look awesome, and you got plenty of real estate when working with ofimatic apps or browsing.Of course, if you got more money, you can go for higher end models, but for the prize is a very good monitor. No dead/stuck pixels at all, solid, good looking and a noticeable upgrade from a 24" 1920x1080 monitor.

Great monitor
Basically it's what I wanted. A pretty big IPS monitor that's good and won't break the bank.I researched quite a lot to find this, and it was recommended in some tech video. I'm happy with the result given the time I spent.I'm not a hardcore gamer or obsessed with screens or anything, but to me it's great. It's nice and clear, there was nothing wrong with it. I have a Dell XPS 13 (Windows 10) if that makes a difference. I suppose an unintentional bonus is that it matches my laptop (tiny bezel etc).It looks good on my desk. The settings are easily adjustable. Definitely a level up from my 13-inch laptop screen. That screen is 4K and this one holds up to it well. You can raise/lower the screen which is handy. Also tilt it up/down, or even rotate it sideways for a portrait orientation (I don't do this).Anyway, this is trailing off. I have no complaints. And it arrived very quickly as I wanted it to which was appreciated.

Worthwhile purchase, but not without some (bearable) flaws
Good points:- lots of pixels - 2560x1440 is a noticeable and useful improvement over the 1920x1200 I'm used to- sensible DPI - the pixels are a bit smaller than my 24" 1920x1200 Dell, but not unusably so. Don't think I'd go for any of the smaller monitors that sport this resolution though...- good quality stand - the Dell stands are often good, and this is no exception: wide range of adjustments, and a rotation option. (And compared to the 1920x1200 monitor, the rotation is a bit more useful. 1280 pixels is somewhat standard; a 1200x1920 display is then a bit narrower than normal, but a 1440x2560 display is fine. This affects some websites)- no power brick - kettle plug goes straight into the back of the monitorBad points:- dead pixel rules are a bit slack - mine has 4 permanently dead subpixels. On a white background, I get 1 red pixel, 1 yellow pixel and 1 cyan pixel, all in the left 1/3rd and the middle 1/3rd of the screen. The yellow and cyan are usually impossible to spot, but the red is somewhat obvious if you're looking for it. Dell's standards for subpixels that are permanently lit are quite stringent, but they're a lot looser when it comes to ones that are permanently dark, so this monitor passes their quality control, and with flying colours! This sounds worse than it is in practice, but it's still a bit annoying, especially as my three 24" Dells had zero faulty pixels between them- touch buttons - the U2412M has clicky physical buttons, but the U2715H has touch-sensitive buttons. Nobody wants this- sometimes doesn't wake up - a few times after waking from sleep the computer has thought the monitor active but it's remained in standby modeIt's not perfect... but the bad points are worth no more than 1 star, and they haven't stopped me ordering a second one to go with it.

Excellent monitor. Great color range and accuracy
Excellent monitor. Great color range and accuracy, great brightness, high resolution makes for a very sharp image and lots of pixel real estate. The thin bezel is also very very nice. Good connections with multiple inputs and DP output, as well as USB hub. Adjustments are also great with tilt, rotate and most of all a great range on height setting. Even has customisable "soft" touch buttons.I use it in a setup with multiple PCs, so the multiple inputs are very helpful in my case, plus it ha audio output, which automatically outputs the sound from the selected video source. So very well thought out.Pixel response time is not the best I've seen, but for most work like graphics, video or documents this won't matter. Some high end gaming might see slight effects of this, but I do play a few games and in my view this is well worth the other advantages and is not noticeable enough to be an issue.Wonderful monitor, I would highly recommend it.

Great monitor except my unit came with a stuck/bright pixel
The monitor itself its great, but the unit I bought came with a visible bright pixel right in the middle of the screen. I thought buying a 'premium' brand like Dell --that sells it under 'Dell Premium Panel Guarantee' of 0 bright pixels-- the likelikehood of getting a defective unit was low, and I was wrong.

WARNING: Dead pixels
This product came with defective pixels (lots of). Amazon kindly sent a replacement, but same issue, dead pixels (this time less but near the center of the screen). The panel is OK, no bleeding which is good, but dead pixels are no go in a monitor which is at least double the price of most low quality 27 inch. Will try to get a refund and think about another brand, so disappointed with Dell.
