This product seems like a real, also effective one.I started taking astaxanthin to improve my eye condition and reduce tiredness. Even though it’s said that astaxanthin is not proven to improve the energy level, I somehow felt more energetic and feeling pretty good while I was taking this supplement. I felt like my eyes were better but maybe pracebo as I think I was not taking it enough to be effective for eyes.I felt some good effects but CAUTION to women with hormonal sensitivity.I am a pill user and whenever I took this supplement even just a few drops of this,(I opened it and took a few drops to reduce its amount) soon there was a sign I could see when I went to toilet on that day that it changed my hormone balance. If you see what I mean. I stopped taking it for a while but whenever I took this supplement, same thing was happening. I checked online if it interacts with pills and it says that there aren’t enough study yet but it might. I have a very hormonal sensitive body and my body was telling me that it does change my hormonal balance. I also got my insomnia worse while I was taking this and I have been having insomnia with any hormonal change recently. I’ve also read a review that taking astaxanthin caused excessive facial hair growth and I believe that is because it affects hormonal balance.This supplement must be a real and effective one as it changed my body with just a few drops of it, however I advise you to use it carefully if you are a woman with hormonal sensitive body or a pill user. I don’t know the truth but It might affect effectiveness of pills as well.

Ordered on Christmas Eve and the package arrived today (27th December).Pills are in a transparent plastic container with a metal lid that has a security seal.Excellent price for 12mg Astaxanthin, let's hope the pills are as efficient as the seller and delivery!EDIT: after using them for two weeks, my hair is very definitely softer.....I don't use conditioner on my hair but it feels like I have (if that makes sense?)Additionally, my wife says her skin feels softer (and she is a massive cynic of supplements etc "it's all a rip-off, none of it works") so if she says she's noticed a difference then something definitely *is* beneficial in these.FURTHER EDIT: a month since we started and my wife's chronic eczema on her hands has disappeared! Even she said her hands "haven't looked this good in years" (see my comments above about her scepticism of the supplement industry).

I have been taking these tablets for a few months now and I am AMAZED with the results i've seen after such a short period of time!My over all health has improved dramatically I am far less tired (which was the main reason i purchased) and more alert then I have been for years. The biggest health benefit I am seeing from these are in my skin, I have a nice glow to my face as my skin is so much clearer and hydrated. I usually suffer from really dry skin around my nose, tried so many different creams and no improvement, but taking these have made it go completely!I highly recommend taking astaxanthin, I will definitely repurchase once my 6months run out!!!!

I bought this supplement because I have a chronic muscle injury and I was hoping this would help to strengthen the damaged tissues. I have been taking it for 2 weeks and have not noticed any significant improvement but I feel supplements do need longer to work in general. However on a positive note I have noticed that I don’t need as much sleep and my skin looks brighter so I will continue to take it for at least 3 months.Update: I have taken one a day for 18 months. There has been no improvement in pain so not sure if it is better for joint pain rather than muscle and tendon pain. However I do think it gives some protection against U.V. light damage and being in my 50s I want to protect my skin so will continue to take it.

I bought this brand to save money, I had previously been taking the other well known brand. I take it for chronic pain, and whilst this tablet might be suitable for others in terms of wellness and sun protection etc, I have been taking it for a while now, long enough to make an informed review. I feel it works nowhere near enough for my pain and is not as effective as the previous brand I was taking. I am having to take two x 12mg to have an effect whereas I was taking 1 x 12mg of the other brand. I will finish the bottle and then go back to my previous brand. This is probably perfectly fine to take depending on what you are using it for, but I would say if it is long term pain you are trying to subdue, BioAstin for whatever reason works much better. It just seems stronger.

As a child/adult, prior to taking astaxanthin I would burn from long sun exposure. Sunscreen in the SPF 30 or higher range would help to some degree. Since taking 12mg or astaxanthin daily (over 5 years now) I don't normally burn with long exposure. I will get red and can feel hot to the touch at night if on vacation and in intense sun for a full day but do not burn with astaxanthin. I've been taking Cheeky brand for over a year with great effect, so that to me is proof the product is genuine and in sufficient dose to create effect. The price/quality is unbeatable and I will continue to re-order as long as the brand is available.

If your vision is important to you than you know, you should take good care of your eyes… This is a primary supplement without any additives or preservatives to affect you negatively. One gelcap daily is exactly the right dosage. There are other products for your eyes with a few other helpful ingredients, but this stuff is potent. Thanks!

I am not a chemist, But when I added a capsule of the 12 mg Astaxanthin to my coconut oil, it didn’t stain my fingers, as other brands had, nor did it color the coconut oil.I opened a capsule of this brand side by side with another brand and the difference wasn’t even close. The other brand was so dark i couldn’t see through it and made a bigger and thicker puddle. They are both labeled as 12mg, but this sorely lacks quality.
