Good but may be tricky to disassemble
I found this a useful and versatile attachment for my Kenwood Chef. It has a wide range of slicing blades - I have not tried them all. However, it may be difficult to detach the connector from the bowl, especially if it has been used in pulse mode. Don't try beating it with a hammer and chisel! The full instructions explain how to do it: Put the assembly back on your Kenwood Chef and then rotate the bowl anti-clockwise until it hits a stop, do not lift off but, continue rotating the bowl anti clockwise applying some force. If necessary get some one else to hold the Chef or jam it against the wall. Hey Presto - even the most tightly jammed connector will detach using this method. Try using a little silicone grease on the connector lugs and boss, don't operate at high speed. You will have no further issues. Nevertheless it is a good product and I am pleased to have bought it as I can do more with my Chef.

Great processor, horrible to clean
It’s a fantastic addition to my Kenwood Chef, giving you a top processor which would cost you £100+. You know what food processors do and this one does a stellar job and doesn’t get bogged down because it’s driven by a meaty stand-mixer motor. However, this thing is a nightmare to clean. You cannot wash the middle (where the bearings and whatnot are), seems fair, right? Wrong, it practically welds itself on after use. I’m a healthy 30y/o man and every time things needs washing, I need to spend 10 mins doing warm ups and stretches just go I can safely exert the required energy to untwist this nightmare. Even if you don’t tighten that much during assembly, it will tighten itself when twisted onto the mixer and during use. It’s impossible. Honestly, if you’re not in your prime, this thing is TIGHT and you won’t be able to unscrew it. Either take the risk and use some kind of lubricant for the threads (cooking oil maybe) or skip this.

Life changing!
I bought this for my OH for Christmas but I have probably used it more than him. It's really well made and super straightforward to use. I literally use it for preparing every meal. We use recipes with a lot of finely chopped vegetables etc in to disguise for kids so this has really sped meal prep up. I have always hated grating cheese and this has made that so easy as it takes seconds now. The only way this could be improved would be if it was dishwasher safe. It's really easy to clean though even without this

Expensive but.....
It is expensive. For the price of this accessory you can buy Kenwood's own standalone food processor. But there is still a reason why you would buy this accessory - It is well built, superior quality, everything you would expect from a high end product.

Excellent all round processor.
Previous one lasted five years, used twice a week. The pin broke on the shaft. Could buy new shaft, but plastic on container also deteriorated. Hence just brought the whole new kit. I throughly recommend the discs, so easy to grate cheese, slice vegetables etc. Once you start using them you won’t stop. Can place vegetables length ways by removing the insert in lid as per manual. Makes outstanding vegetable slices for gratins and the grated cheese to go on top.

Very happy with.
Found for a good price. Great for saving time and swerving boring jobs like cheese grating or for batch cooking. I've even made large quantities of nut butters and praline in this (I wouldn't make the praline again unless in a real squeeze as it did seem to scrape some of the plastic on the part that attaches between the bowl and machine; plus despite blending for a long time, did still have some texture from the caramel, although did dissolve in the ganache I used it for). Use on an almost weekly basis and had for a few months. I wash it in the dishwasher and it still looks new. Was worried about other reviews about people saying the part that attaches the bowl to the machine gets stuck, it has on occasion but I can twist out by hand or like another person said, put it back on the machine and twist it off on there to use the machine for purchase. The toughest things I've done in the machine are the praline and cracker dough and had no awful problem with this. Really like the size of the bowls too. Generous enough to use for bulk prep but not too bulky to fit in a slimline dishwasher with lunch things or the rest of the meal prep stuff. Still to try the julienne cutter but it's a sturdy little bowl so far on my titanium xl machine.

But the attachment does extend the mixer's range hugely and I am really pleased with it
Obviously, it's expensive. But it's well made: robust and substantial and there are a lot of sensible cutters with it. The only issue I've got is the difficulty of taking the bowl on and off when I am slicing several batches at the same time. It takes some time to learn the technique which does require a bit of muscle at the beginning and is frankly clumsy. But the attachment does extend the mixer's range hugely and I am really pleased with it. It also arrived very fast and was beautifully packed.

I am so pleased
Been wanting a blender for some time but didn’t want to spend on a separate unit, this attachment is very well made and should last a lifetime, blades are robust and a good selection

I bought my Kenwood Chef XL food mixer a couple of months ago and I really wanted to buy the Breville food processor (but it is very very expensive). So, given that the food processor attachment for the Kenwood Chef was about one seventh of the price, I thought it would fill in until I could eventually afford the Breville. The first thing that I noticed when opening the box was firstly, how well the components were packaged and the second was the very high quality of the components (for example, the handle of the food processor is metal (probably aluminium) when I expected it to be silver coloured plastic)). The blades are also extremely well made. The reason that I needed a food processor was that the recipe I like for bagels requires one (the food mixer itself can do the job but it takes ages). Even so, I needed to divide the dough up into smaller portions as I think the machine would have jumped off of the counter, but it still did the job and I had the best bagels ever. I do not use the processor as much as the food mixer (which I use almost every day) but I still use it at least once a week and, so far, it has been able to do everything that I have asked of it.
