So far so good
So far so good. Its easy to put on. Holds my phone so far and it doesn't block the vent so i can get heat and air without the phone blocking them.

Ease of use is incredible, durability will be the question
Comes with a mount that works perfectly with the honeycomb vent in my Honda civic and I love the design where you push it in and it automatically clamps on the phone and squeezing the tabs on each side while grabbing the phone, it comes out so easily. I dropped a star because it does wobble up and down while I'm driving and it is mostly thin plastic so not sure how long it will last, but the design of use is spot on, so we'll see.

Perfect phone mount for Mazda CX-5
I purchased this mount for my mother since she has a CX-5 and uses Apple Carplay. The issue she was facing was that there really was no good place to place her phone while it was plugged in unless she wanted to leave it in the center console. I discovered this mount and purchased it to see how well it worked. I was a little hesitant at first because the mount goes right over the hazards button in between the center vents. I thought that it might have the same issue that vent clip mounts have which is when you live in a cold area like we do your phone overheats because of heat being blown on it. After a solid month of use I can say that her phone doesn't overheat and the mount holds her phone perfectly.

Not quite "tight"...VERY Difficult to access the "flashers" button!
The media could not be loaded. This make the use of the flashers button EXTREMELY difficult & INCONVENIENT. It gives me the need to REMOVE it (slide it out of the 'clip-on') while on MOST of my drives, since it is MORE of a NUSSIANCE than a HELP and have the "holder" either sitting in the way of the console, (underneath HVAC), have the NEED to put it either in the armrest center console or glove box so it is out of the way until IF it is needed which takes up VALUABLE space in those areas! (I ONLY use it for longer drives when it is accessible for my music apps). I keep my phone in a clip-on holster and THAT is easier than using THIS especially since I can make/receive calls from the vehicle and have my texts read to me while driving, pretty much rendering this thing USELESS 99% of the time for me. I only bought it for the 1% of the time I would like to have my phone out of my holster & want to look at my phone's screen. This is NOT as snug as it SHOULD be as the phone wobbles when using the touch screen. The piece that goes into the slot IS pushed down ALL THE WAY, BUT that seems as it SHOULD 'snap-in' to make it more secure. It DOES hinder the flashers button, (as mentioned) and it IS inconvenient. I DON'T have much hopes of the "close-shut" mechanism due to it feeling "not a secure hold" that (in my experience with it) seems to just 'close' and not really 'hold-tight' the phone. Even with the ball joint knob TIGHT (not too tight to strip or break it) , the whole thing STILL wobbles as it is NOT a "snug/tight/SECURE" hold which makes for difficult phone use & inadvertently pressing everything else that you are NOT purposely pressing. I have a vid & pics posted for your reference of it installed on my CX-5. IF I would have something to positively say is that it does not hinder view of the infotainment screen, and has minimal affect on the air flow from the vents.Until it gets aggravating enough OR I find a better holder, I will keep the 'clipped-on' part to the dash and just slide the holder in when/if needed..BUT AM LOOKING to REPLACE this with a better option.THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW FOR A "PAID FOR BY ME" AND NOT A "VINE FREE" ITEM AS I PAY FOR EVERYTHING I GET, AND THAT ALSO MAKES MY REVIEWS TRUE & HONEST!!

Perfect fit for a Nissan Rogue SV
The phone holder has been working exceptionally well since I purchased it. During the last hurricane, we experienced a power outage that lasted over a week, and this device really came in handy when we had to sleep in our car. It securely held my phone on its side without any issues, and I haven't experienced any wear or tear. The attachment has never fallen off, making it the most durable phone holder I have owned. The quality is excellent and perfect for the price. The only drawback is its placement; it covers the hazard light button. To activate the hazard lights, I need to raise the phone or remove part of the holder.

Kind of flimsy...
The bracket/baseplate that attaches to the dash is pretty flimsy. Just snapping it onto the dash (and having been warned in other reviews I was veeerrrry careful) caused one of the little tabs to break off. So I carefully drilled a couple of tiny screw holes through the bracket (aka baseplate) and into the dash and attached the bracket to the dash with two very small screws. Now the bracket is very snugly attached to the dash and I have high hopes it will work out okay. The screws are barely noticeable. I will say the bracket fits the contour of the dash very nicely...a perfect fit, in fact.
