Great for sheep and goat hooves
I have pet sheep and goats. These clippers are brilliant to use - better than other brands we've tried as they stay sharp and cut well, and are good for both me and my husband with very different sized hands. I keep them cleaned and oiled after each use. Have had to replace the last pair as they got dropped and went out of alignment.Great price and very quick delivery.

Great product
I was advised to get these for the garden and they are fab!! much sharper than most garden scissors and go through much thicker wooded stems.

Quality shears made in Sheffield!
Lovely size and easy to use. The slide button locking is a great idea and very neat. Very well made by a Sheffield manufacturer who has been making tools for over 280 years, hence the reassurance of a 5 year guarantee.

Very good quality
I was immediately impressed by the quality of these clippers. The picture and very reasonable price does not do these clippers justice! They have a nice weight and a good solid feel to them and are very sharp indeed (need to be careful of the tips when open as they are very pointed!) Only used once as an amateur on my old, grumpy rescue ram and he didn't complain and neither did I as they are comfortable to use and being so sharp got the job done quickly without worrying the old boy too much. Eddie gives them 5 stars and is like a 2 year old again!

Could be better.
Good, but don't expect longevity, they don't last more than a year or so. Also the blade securing catch was faulty on the last pair we bought.

Quality is worth paying that little extrra for
Shears were used to cut goats feet. Previous shears ok but nowhere near as good as these. Goats were less distressed as shears were sharp and cut easily even after goat number 25. Shears were easier on the user as the spring was more efficient and needed less pressure to cut. Even old very long toe nails previously having given both goat and nail cutter problems were trimmed. Goats were almost skipping afterwards. Smiles from owner and goats cavorting on fresh feet.
