Fabulous bulbs
Having a Volvo my budget headlights were blowing quite often, as they are always on when driving. However since fitting these bulbs, they live up to their description and have proved that they are a great upgrade and have a great bulb life. Also improving my visibility, and providing a very solid colour on the road, they are great value for money

Long Lasting!
These bulbs are the ONLY bulbs I use for my car, I have used many bulbs over the years and these are the best, long lasting bulbs you can buy. Others don’t last as long.Brightness is good, not the brightest out there but does that what is needed.Only downside to these are the price, they are a little on the pricey side but, they do last longer than others in my experience.

Will they be Long Lasting?
Lamp life will be the key factor, constantly ‘On’ in the Polo means I have to frequently change the lamps. The lamp base fitting in the holder isn’t obvious despite often doing it! Time will tell whether these Philips lamps last longer. Brightness is fine.

They work fine and save a little fuel
These bulbs are the same brightness as ordinary headlight bulbs but use a little less energy. (15% less? I bought these a good six months ago and I forget the exact figures but I did test these on an ammeter and found the manufacturers are telling the truth about their energy consumption.) Surprisingly, this does mean they will save a useful amount of fuel and therefore will pay for themselves, even if they don't last as long as they claim.(In contrast, bulbs which burn slightly brighter than normal - or with a slightly 'whiter' or even 'bluer' light than normal - will use the same amount of power as the normal cheap ones but will tend to burn out significantly sooner as they run hotter internally.)I decided last year to fit LED bulbs in my car where I could, mainly in order to minimise energy use and therefore maximise mpg. That was quite a project, as it turned out. Not as easy as I thought it would be, and not cheap either. It's done now, and I'm happy that my car's lighting is as good or better than it was in all respects and uses less fuel than it did. LED's also never burn out (unless there is something wrong with them) so it should be safer too, with no unexpectedly blown tail lights or brake lights. However, the amount of energy saved by simply switching to these EcoVision headlight bulbs is about the same as the total saving I made by changing all those smaller bulbs to LED's. Well worthwhile.

Enlightened
Got 2 Phillips long life headlamp bulbs off Amazon for a similar price to 1 ordinary bulb off Halfords, no brainer as Phillips claim up to 4 times the lifespan.( Halfords also wanted £10 per bulb to fit) Fitted them both in less than 10 mins, although only 1 had previously blown decided to change both. Brilliant and great VFM. No complaints off her indoors which is as good as a compliment 🤷🏻♂️🤣

Great bulbs, still lasting even after a good year!
Not too much to say - were a good price, and they seem to have lasted quite a long time. I did find it a little challenging to get the bulbs out of the plastic casing, but probably missed a trick of a way to get them out easily?
