I have throughly enjoyed reading…Never Give An Inch, by Secretary Mike Pompeo. I appreciate getting to know our Secretary on a more personal level. I respect the kind words concerning his “First Lady” & their son. As he related the importance of God, family & America first. He proved what can be done when your priorities are correct. He proved he is not only a true conservative, but a conscious patriot, a TRUE leader & a GREAT American! ! Mike allowed us to see the big picture, & understand what happened behind clothes doors, (things that the woke media doesn’t want to share). I appreciate Mr. Pompeo respecting his commitment to his oath of office by not writing this book as a tell all, but rather as a true account of what what transpired on his watch. I appreciate the great sacrifices he made & the respect he had/has for, (his boss) our President & Commander & Chief, President Donald J. Trump. Mike was not afraid to embrace his commitment & strong belief in Jesus Christ. He shared humbly how praying & trusting in the Lord, (as our forefathers did) made a difference that effects all Americans. I believe he made all his decisions based on prayer first, facts & what would be the best for all Americans. I truly appreciate the conscientious way the secretary handled himself when he faced a challenge. He never cared if his decisions made him unpopular… or what the media thought. Thankfully he looked past the opinion of others & focused on keeping all Americans safe by never backing down & NEVER GIVING AN INCH!Thank you Secretary Pompeo for your service to our country… And, thank you Mrs. Pompeo for standing beside your man! Gods speed! I pray that this won’t be your last book or your last time in the White House. Hint hint!

Did not like the font. In hard copy. Made it hard to read! I ended up buying kindle version. But excellent book and well written.

Mike Pompeo has given us a gift that flows from an account of what he did, to what he proposes and why. First, we get great detail on his time at the CIA and State, as well as the nitty-gritty of his relationship with President Trump. Since Pompeo dropped out of the Presidential race, he doesn’t have a medium to relate his history and his logic in making decisions. Never Give an Inch is it, and well done it is.Never Give an Inch could be viewed as a written draft for a three-hour campaign speech, i.e., he says this is what happened, this is how I dealt with it, and this is where my rule-set is taking me. It is a powerful story. We find out how what his opinions are, how his opinions were formed and the background of how they fit into execution under a different President. We find out who he respects and who he does not, and why. Pompeo throws his opinions out as part of a story, but he is stuck with them and knows it. Of course, they are his alone and that’s what he illustrates as he deals with President Trump and his orders. He is quite complimentary of Trump and the way he operated. Above all, it is clear that Trump is his boss and Pompeo is trying to do the best job he can for him within his core beliefs.One thing that could change the course of history is the knife fight going on between Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis and Chis Christie for the Republican nomination for President. If they bloody each other enough, there may be room for a white night to come in and lead. Pompeo would be my vote. He knows how to get things done.

Full disclosure. I am an admirer of Mike Pompey and found this book highly informative and well documented. It can become a tough read in places, but worth reading every word.

I could not put Never Give an Inch down—it’s SO good!Well written, fascinating, informative, and funny!Secretary Pompeo shares behind the scenes accounts of the headlines we saw and the stories we should have seen during his 4 years of service in the Executive Branch. The best part is he shows how being a Washington outsider is one of his biggest assets. He’s businessman from Kansas, served his Country in the Army after graduation, felt called to serve his fellow Kansans in Congress, and then called to serve his Country again in the Executive Branch. Most importantly he is guided by his love of God, love of family, and love of America!I recommend anyone and everyone to read this book. It’s not just any political book. It tells fascinating, informative, and some funny stories that anyone can (and SHOULD) read!

From our first interactions, it was obvious Chol wanted to intimidate me. He greeted me and Andy Kim, the CIA's top North Korea expert and my only aide on this mission, with a military guard force flanking him. I reached out to shake his hand. Mid-grip, through a translator, he said, "We have eaten grass for the last 50 years. We can eat grass for the next 50 years." No hello, no welcome---simply his own personal message that the regime had the will to survive even if the North Korean people had to suffer famine. Of course, Chol wasn't eating grass. Like all other klepto-maniac North Korean elites, he was drinking top-shelf booze and dining on Wagyu beef. Eating grass was for ordinary people. I knew Chol didn't run the show in the Hermit Kingdom, so I gave him a salty response: "General Chol, nice to see you too. I can't wait for lunch. And I prefer my grass steamed."

Mike Pompeo is the real deal when it comes to clear thinking and knowing what to do and when to do it.In this book he pulls no punches in calling a spade a shovel. He was at the sharp end of international politics when working as Sec State in the Trump administration.You cannot comment on this man until you read this book. He is an exceptional performer and I would expect to see him serving in the next republican administration.

Beautifully written book, love Mikes Wit and humor. Never give an Inch!

Really interresting to know about his mind without media interference. Im not always on the same line than republicans for questions like abortions for raped women but overall..Thank you Mike for what you have done for America and the world. God bless you and your familly. From Montréal,Canada.
