S Factor by Tigi Flat Iron Straightening Heat Protection Shine Spray, 125 ml

This is my holy grail of heat protection spray. I have tried many and nothing so far has come as close as this!I was first introduced to it by my hairdresser a few years ago and bought my own bottle. I'd since ordered bottles from other beauty websites with rubbish customer service until I noticed I could add it to my subscribe and save order - oh happy day.My hair is very thick and often thirsty and absolutely loves this stuff. It doesn't dry my hair out, or make it crispy and frazzly as others have. It is ever so slightly oily in consistency and can only get a bit 'greasy' if I use too much, but I'd have to spray myself silly for that to happen. I don't spray it on my roots of course. It leaves a lovely sheen and makes my hair feel very soft. It works so well with my GHD's. I try not to use heat styling too often to give my hair a rest but when I do I will only ever use this wonderful magic potion. I even keep a spare at my boyfriend's!I wish I could send a few bottles back in time to my 15 year old self, I could have avoided a lot of... well, y'know.

I was previously using flat iron serums but thought, what the heck, let's give this spray a go.It appears to be a clear watery liquid but when you spray it on, it comes out in a mildly greasy consistency. Smells nice but you have to be super careful not to overdo it or it'll make your hair heavy/greasy.I just use it to tame my bangs and for the amount I need, I put about two pumps on the palms of my hand, rub 'em together and then glide my hands through my bangs before ironing. Hopefully it's doing the job i.e. reducing heat damage.4 stars for being kinda expensive :o but it's nice and I think it serves the purpose.

This is the 1st time ive bought a tigi product , the reviews were so good I thought I just had to try it , and yes its great , ive only ever used basic mousse and hairspray on my hair and do use straighteners on parts of my hair , I first used it on dry hair before using my straighteners and wow it really does make your hair shiney and straight, ive got quite problem hair -used to be wavy but now has thinned and is quite coarse and fluffy with no products on, but this spray really does look good on the hair, also the smell isnt as strong as I had thought it would be , its not overpowering-just nice , ive used it on damp hair too (still with my usual mousse though) but I do prefer to just squirt it on the bits im using the straighteners on...so impressed ive bought a few more items from the tigi range so cant wait to try those !

Decided to try this after trying every heat protecting spray on the market, I had decided i'd have to give up my straighteners because my hair was so damaged. I read all the reviews and ordered it, and I am impressed, my hair feels and looks silky smooth after using it, and after 6 months I can blow dry my hair (before spraying this on) without it turning into a frizz, it really does seem to be protecting it from heat damage. you do only need to spray a very light misting over your hair, so it does last a very long time, at least 3 times longer than one off the shelf. Be careful though because if you spray loads of it on it will leave your hair looking and feeling greasy.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased this product - it is very light weight and only use it on the ends of my hair - try not to get near the roots as this will make you hair look greasy-perfect for dry or split ends.

Great product was really worried that it would leave a residue or feel heavy like other products I've used in the past, but lightweight and really leaves my hair smooth . Only negative doesn't really leave your hair shiny as stated but overall very happy with product.

I learnt from my hairdresser that protecting your hair from heat damage was so important; and I also learnt that any good heat defence spray was oil based, rather than water based. This is because if you were to use straighteners or curlers on hair sprayed with a water based spray, it just frazzles your hair in time. And you wouldn't straighten your hair damp, right? So she recommended this which does the job to protect my hair really well, even the dryer ends, whilst also giving my hair a brilliant shine!Absolutely love this spray, it smells gorgeous too!

Struggled with thinning/frizzy hair for a long time, and nothing has ever settled it...until now.I cannot speak highly enough of this product: use on damp hair, after washing, and then dry - produced luscious, frizz-free hair (a miracle I never thought would happen)One small tip would be not to use on dry hair - despite the fact that it states it is okay, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT ON DRY HAIR, as it can make your hair instantaneously greasy and denser. But perfect on WET HAIR.
