Is this mop head interchangeable to fit pole like the other mop heads?

Yes. I use Cif regularly when cleaning my bathtub and bath tiles. I have also used Flash floor cleaner when cleaning ground in dirt on the bathroom and kitchen Lino.

Can I find a telescopic, extendible handle that fits this?

We bought ours as a complete set. Tried searching Amazon even tried EBAY no luck. Try looking on the high street like Wilko, Homebase, Dunelm and the like. Look in independent shops/ hardware stores in a small town. Surprised you can’t get them.

how does the sponge attach to the pole

The flat base at the bottom of the pole has a spiky finish to it so that the sponge grips on to these when attached. It fits on very securely. I have been using these since they first came out and I was devastated that they have discontinued them here in the UK.
