As many have already noted, this is cat crack. If you have an elderly cat who is difficult to feed, this will help. I don't give it to my older cat as a meal on its own: I use one pack, then mix it into a good-size serving of wet food. This makes the wet food so appetizing, she'll eat as much of it as she did when she was younger. It is succeeding in getting her weight closer to where her vet would like it.For a cat who is very ill and refusing all food, I will serve the broth by itself.
