4th time purchase. Best manual grinders for money.
That was my 4th Timemore manual coffee grinder purchase. Another cool birthday gift for a friend, coffee enthusiast. Time ago, I've got one for myself, Slim, then time to time was buying for friends. Everyone loves theirs. Slightly deferent models in purchase history, but all of them get strong, solid construction, smooth torsion, provide quick and consistent grind. Easy to use, easy to adjust and clean. Few "clicks" and you change the taste of your coffee beans dramatically. At home, I use Mazzer Philos, but Timemore is always with me then going outdoor, cabins, run-away weekends, business travels, conferences - even abroad. It was with me in Mexico, Edinburgh, Dublin, Lisbon. It might look pricy, but it is one-time purchase, and Timemore grinders definitely worth the price. If you are coffee enthusiast, especially "pour over" person - mast have.

A perfect entry into higher quality coffee grinding. Top marks!
After my Porlex grinder's ceramic burrs started to dull (and the handle attachment began to strip completely) I knew it was time for a new coffee grinder. This time I opted for a slight upgrade to what I'd heard was a more consistent and reliable grinder. I can confidently say that this grinder offers an excellent value for the results it provides. Sure there are higher quality grinders available for those seeking to make smaller gains in flavor and consistency but I think this grinder offers that sweet spot of quality, value, and performance. Why? - The grinds are very consistent and it grinds perfectly for pour overs, Aeropress brews, drip, and French press coffee methods. If you are looking for an espresso grinder, opt for Timemore's ESP series for more fine tuned (and finer) grinding offerings. Or at that level you may want to consider a higher end grinder. - This grinder is easy to use and grinds pretty fast in my experience, certainly faster than my old Porlex did. The finer your grind preference the longer and harder you'll have to grind but I've never found it to be a "slow grinder." - Every piece of this grinder is built with quality. It all assembles together perfectly and is durably built of high end materials. It feels good to hold and use. - This grinder is easy to disassemble and clean too. I appreciate that they include a brush to do so. - It looks really nice! Long story short I foresee this being my go to coffee grinder for a long time. I'm really happy with the results I'm getting from it and my coffee cups taste great. I'd recommend it.

Sturdy, good grind, quiet, easy to use
Beautiful design, heavy and sturdy. I use it in the morning to grind beans for espresso; I timed myself the first time, and it took a little over a minute. Very easy to use. Quiet, which is great in the morning, especially for those of us sensitive to noises at that hour. Very even, fine grind. Adjusting it was slightly tricky, but once you read the instructions and realize how it works, it's simple. Secure in the hand (even if you don't have large hands), textured outside for a good grip.

Sturdy Build, Thoughtful Design, Good Coffee
This is my first manual coffee grinder. I have a Baratza coffee grinder that I've been using for grinding coffee beans, but it does not go quite as fine as I need for the way I am making coffee right now; so I bought this to grind beans to espresso size. The build is sturdy. And the design is thoughtful. I love that the body is knurled to help your grip as you grind. I love the way the handle folds. The size is perfect, compact but capacious. The weight is nearly ideal. I'm finding that the flavor of my coffee is a little richer, stronger and less bitter than it was before; so I'm really happy with my choice. My only quibble is that the manual does not specify that the handle needs to be on the unit to adjust grind size. It took me a little time to figure this out and it came close to spoiling my honeymoon introduction to an otherwise good piece of kit.

In short, I love this grinder. It has replaced my 15-year-old Hario, and is shockingly better. The first few times I used it, I was worried about the amount of grounds I was losing due to static cling. The easy fix for this is to add a couple drops of water on top of the beans and then shake them up. A little trick for this: Add your beans to the base reservoir first, then add a few drops of water, cover with the palm of your hand, shake, then add beans to top of hopper, and dry out the base with a paper towel (so that the remaining water doesn't cause grounds to stick).

Se tiene que tener cuidado al manejarlo ya que es algo frajil, saca desde espresso hasta coldbrew, es bastante versatil pero no ofrece mucho espacio para ajustes.
