Daarej by Rasasi for Men - 3.38 oz EDP Spray

Well damn.I wasn't a fan of the initial spray as it is very sweet. Very much like the spray I used to have to spray around the store when I was working for Hollister. But after 30 mins or so, it settles down into a more mature manly smell.Nevertheless, to my nostrils, the smell projection, to my nostrils, seemed to be very weak after an hour and I thought both the longevity and projection was lame and I was ready to write a scathing review.Alas, it was midway through my nightshift that one of the ladies asked me if I took a bath in aftershave looool. She said that her and another lady, fine as anything, could smell my trail from two aisles down. I was shocked because I couldn't smell anything and said maybe it was someone else, but she said when she got near me she knew it was me.So...apparently this is the type of smell which somehow anaestises ones nostrils but projects to everybody else's...i sprayed roughly around 8:30pm, and the comment came around 2am during my nightshift. That my scent was leaving a trail big enough for her to ask me if I bathed in it. So, my verdict:Comments: ladies notice it.Scent: starts off a bit sweet, youthful...it dries down down to a bit more of a fresh manly scent although you still smell the berries or whatever it is causing the sweet scent.Sillage: It's strong. Where the lady smelt my trail was from around 10m away, which is two aisles.Longevity: It lasts at the very least 6 hours and I sprayed it on neck, chest, pits, back and inner elbows (it is still on my clothes following yesterday).And the women seemed to be a lot more chatty and one little mama was a bit more flirty than usual. Maybe it was the scent or maybe it was that I was dressed a tad smarter...I dont know and don't care.

Smells good ,I have many compliments from friends about the smell and last longing effect.

Wonderful smell

First of all, the packaging was in perfect condition. It arrived quickly and the scent did not disappoint. The bottle looked better than I had expected, quite minimalistic, nothing tacky or screamingly cheap about it, so you really don't have to hide it. The smell: I was looking for a Valentino V clone and I got it. It's heavenly, sexy, unique and smells much more expensive than its price. I am also pretty sure a woman with a taste for non-aquatic unisex could pull this off. It's a very seductive scent and I don't think that cumin is too strong but I like the note, anyway.Scent: 10/10Projection: 7.5/10Longevity: 7/10However, I immediately repurchased a back-up bottle from a different seller because after my purchase these guys increased the price. The one I repurchased was just as good.

This is one of the perfumes that have been hyped recently resulting in its price to increase. It doesn't meet my preference (sweet; think soft or tanasuk) but I do get compliments when wearing it so I have opted to give it 4 rather than 3.Edit: Many years on and this has become one of my favourite perfumes. Sweet but not cloyingly so and very popular with others as I tend to get compliments. Takes only a few sprays and it projects and lasts well. Price is amazing for what you get.

Overall nice scent as expected but fails with longevity as mine was a 2020 batch.I think this fragrance has been reformulated so it doesnt last as u would expect a rasasi fragrance should last.

Quite a nice fragrance, what you can smell of it…. it’s ridiculously weak with zero protection … even though it’s a super cheap fragrance, the performance falls woefully short of the £20 being charged for it. I consider this purchase a complete waste of money.

I've got quite a collection of Arabic perfumes, mostly Oud. This is a very nice scent. Soft, sweet, musky and comprehensively nice. It projects and has good longevity 6-10 hours. This is a unique scent. I only wear it when I'm in the best of moods as it reflects my emotion. I just know that when peeps get a wiff of this stuff they must think wow, that's different, nothing like any stuff they buy in the shops. Oriental, exotic. You can adjust this up or down 2 sprays playing safe. 3-5 up to beast mode.. I'm a pretty masculine mature guy, this leans to the masculine side though could easily a unisex scent. Two or three sprays does the trick. The best in my collection.
