I bought the Sekaer Travel Electric Tea Kettle (model SY-618B) for its compact size and variable presets, and it has quickly become my go-to for making tea and coffee on the go. The small size is perfect for travel, easily fitting into my bag without taking up too much space. It’s also surprisingly lightweight for being made of sturdy stainless steel. What really sets it apart are the 4 variable temperature presets, which make it super convenient when I need a specific temperature for different types of tea or for coffee brewing. It heats up quickly and the auto shut-off feature gives me peace of mind, especially when I’m multitasking in a hotel room or a busy morning at home. The boil-dry protection is a great bonus; I don’t have to worry about damaging the kettle if I forget to add enough water. Overall, the quality feels top-notch, and it’s incredibly easy to use and clean. If you’re a frequent traveler or just want a reliable, small kettle for personal use, I highly recommend this one. It’s well worth the price for the convenience and features you get!

This things works great. Great size, heats up pretty fast, lid comes on and off easy, and I use this daily. The only small issue I found was the cover over the plug. It's kinda tricky to get opened to plug in the cord. I had seen other videos on YouTube where they had just removed it and I did as well. Works so easy this way. If they added a small rubbed tab to the cover to pull from it would make opening the cover so much simpler but other than that this thing is rock solid.

I took this on a week-long cabin vacation, and it was absolutely perfect. Compact, lightweight, and easy to pack, but still powerful. I loved the variable temperature presets, especially for tea and coffee. It heats up quickly and doesn’t take up counter space. It made my mornings so much easier while traveling, and I didn’t have to rely on whatever old kettle (or none) the cabin might’ve had. If you travel often or just want a small personal kettle, this one is a winner.

Bought this last year and came back to write a review after 1 year of multiple use. The kettle still works fine and very convenient. I travel a lot and move places a lot, and sometimes live in my car so this mini kettle is very very useful to me. Use it more than once a day and it's clearly been overused by me but still hasn't given up. I know some reviews say it doesn't reach to boiling point but I can hear it boiling so I'm sure it reaches 212 f. Still boils and works to this day. Gave it only 4 stars because it's only ideal for 1 person. It also works with a portable power station like jackery so prrrrrrrfect for camping. But again, only for 1 person

We use this product for travel. It has worked very well for many trips. It is durable and easy to use.

OMG I love this little kettle. I use it in my classroom (ever since my district initiated their energy [costs] saving policy requiring the removal of personal appliances in classrooms without medical necessity notes from doctors- a ridiculous move that doesn’t really save energy costs in an old building built in 1970. But I digress.) This kettle, when full, heats to max temperature in about 7 minutes. I really like the keep warm feature and the removable cord. The lid is a little difficult to line up the threads and seal, but I think that is partly because it’s still so new. It was a little pricey in my opinion, but so far I don’t really mind the price. However, if it breaks within a year or so of daily use, then the price will be considered too expensive. Overall, it looks made to last a while. I read a review that said that they had theirs for a couple years or so, which convinced me to purchase.

This little machine runs at half the power draw of typical American "kettles" and only a quarter of what the British monsters draw. This makes it safe and unobtrusive for the electrics in the office, particularly when compared to anything else that heats water. The only appreciable noise it makes is the beeping, unlike my neighbor's kettle which sounds like a jet taking off. Small and stylish, it fits in the computer bag and looks fine on the desk. It takes maybe five minutes to heat 12 oz of water or so to just near boiling. This is perfect for a large mug of coffee. This kettle is an ideal counterpart to the OXO Rapid Brew Aero (or something like that). Together with the KinGrinder P1, my office coffee routine is easy, rewarding, and I'm drinking the best coffee in the building. I have not noticed any of the issues that other people report. This is inexpensive, reliable, and perfect for the task. It doesn't leak, it works quickly, and it shuts itself off.

I am glad I found this, and I am grateful for how portable it is, and that it has different heat settings. Wish it was faster to heat, but it works, and I am happy I have it… I will replace it when technology catches up and they are able to heat faster.
