I would like to colour some tights, but do they need to be boiled as they’ll shrink? :(

I used my dye on a bikini top just in the sink with boiled water out the kettle and just kept topping it up rather than actually putting them in a pot to bring to boil. Hope that helps!

Can it be used in a washing machine?

I didn’t use it in a washing machine. It says on the hob in the instructions so I didn’t chance it.

do you need to buy fixative as well

No, it's all in the bottle! I do reccommend a good ironing after though.
