Xiaomi Mi Computer Monitor Light Bar, Screen Light Bar (270 Lumens, Adjustable Colour Temperature 2700-6500K, Colour Rendering Index RA95, No Reflective Glare, Easy Installation, Modern Design)

I've been on the hunt for good lighting in my office at night and this light bar is the final touch. I'll go over a few things I really like about it and the experience I've hadQuality: As soon as I pulled the mount out the box the first thing I said was "wow this is heavy". You can tell it's quality material. It is made to fit on practically any monitor, and my curved wide screen is no exception. I think it even works better with curved monitors because it's less likely to reflect light off the monitor. Which leads me to my next pointLighting: A desk light should be able to light your desk without reflecting the light back in your face and this does just that. I like how I could adjust the light bar to where I need it and it's not hurting my eyes. I did notice how dirty my monitor was after turning it on and I cleaned it right away. I haven't had any problems with it showing reflections or smudges since I first cleaned it.Wirless remote: Probably my favorite feature. It is very easy to use and quite responsive. I wish the remote was a little heavier tho.. you can tell that the rotating part of the remote is hollow. I would have liked a more premium feel. But I would still take this over the BenQ remote because I don't have to wave my hand over it to turn it on. This remote is just ready to go always. I really like the different temperatures you can choose from. I chose the one I like most for my set up and I just leave it at that.Cable: Cable management is the Bain of my existence. I refuse to let cables ruin my life and I was very worried about the cable that came with this. I don't have any extra usb's on my monitor to plug it into, so my best bet was plugging it into the smart powerstrip I have stuck to the bottom of my desk. To my surprise the cable was exactly as long I needed, which was kind of disappointing in a way. I kinda wish it was a tich longer so I could still move stuff around if I needed, but I can't complain. I could also buy a new cable if I wanted.Something else to keep in mind: If you're looking to use a smart plug with this, the light turns on when it gets power no matter if it was turned off before hand. This could be good or bad depending on what you want to do with it. You could have your home assistant control it and just forget about the remote. I personally don't want to do that because I love the remote.Overall: I definitely recommend getting this! It's less than half of the price of the BenQ model, does the same thing, and has a better remote. It lights up my desk very well and doesn't reflect any light off my monitor. 5 stars!

It makes my desk brighter. I like the functionality because I can choose from many lighting options.

this light bar is very nice, its bright it has little to no screen casting. I am using it atop my setup and have not had any issues. it does not come with batteries for the remote so you will need two AAA batteries. All functions work with the light and it pairs well with my customizable back light. the body is solid metal and everything surprised my with how well built and high quality it is my only worry is the added weight of the light pressing on the top of my tiny bezeled screen. the remote does smudge easily and the provided cable was not long enough to reach a dedicated USB so I had to buy a longer one.

I tried out a few lightbars (mostly options that were cheaper than this one), and this one definitely had the best overall build quality, brightness and light coverage. I'm not totally happy with the mount, which doesn't work well with my monitor that has a slight curve in the back. The usb port placement is also strange as it sticks straight up and makes it more difficult to use the top of the light for a webcam. I found workarounds for these issues, but I think the design could be refined slightly. Overall it is a nice light.

Light quality is good for daily usage!The size is perfect and fulfills most of the monitors.Recommend it!

I did some research before I bought the Xiaomi lightbar and I'm very thankful of all those great reviews I read before I bought my lightbar. I'm taking this time to thank those people that provide a generous review and all the details we must have, before placing that order. I gibe this light bar 5 stars, I consider it has all the brightness, it is really easy to use and it's nice and comfortable for my eyes!

Love it. lights up my workspace really well. I use it daily for more than a year.

Are you deciding between this Xiaomi light versus the BenQ screenbar? Do not think twice: just get the Xiaomi one. 100+ dollars cheaper, amazing quality, wireless knob for turning on/off the lights, adjusting brightness and light temperature. I am extremely satisfied. My wife decided to get one as well.
