An Excellent Guide of WWI
This book is an excellent guide to World War I. The book starts at the beginning of the 19th century and covers all the conflicts of the time. This book goes into detail about the chain of events from the Arch duke being assassinated. As the war rages, Enthralling History covers the major battles in detail and covers the new weaponry unleashed on the world. The contributions from each country are detailed and when the U.S. joins the war. As the superpowers meet the end of the war shows a new world order. This was a fascinating book to read with so much clear and easy to understand information. I hope you will take the time to learn about this war to end all wars by reading this book. It will be well worth your time.

World Order Redistributed
This is the most comprehensive & through coverage of WWI (The Great War) that I have read in my 77 years. I particularly appreciate the straight on explanation(s) of the diverse countries and their individual leadership throughout Europe in the late 19th and beginning of 20th centuries. It was not ‘just’ the ‘shot heard around the world’ that triggered ‘The War to End All Wars’.Also the analysis of the Ottom Empire - it’s inclusion in the conflict, and the fighting in the Eastern Front is greatly improved over what other WWI books have provided. Thank You,

World War I
This book analyses the causes and the duration of the First World War. It was a brutal war that engulfed Europe and Africa. The destruction was total, and Europe and Africa suffered high casualties in civilian and military lives. After the war, Germany, Austria, and the Ottoman Empires ceased to exist. This total war changed Europe and European politics. The book provides a plethora of helpful information.

Pretty good
Enjoyable. Sort of a Reader’s Digest condensed review of WW-I. Only a couple hundred pages so not really in depth.

Excellent
Although the beginning of the book might confuse some, if you have not studied the period of time being talked about, the book does an excellent job of laying out the events that transpired from 1914-18. It gives you just enough information to whet one’s appetite to want to study the subject further.
