Review: HomeKit useful - Does what it says on the tin. One of the very few HomeKit items in existence, but a good addition to any home Review: annoying limitations - I really do not recommend to buy these eve products! I bought the Weather and the Room to monitor air quality and barometric pressure etc. The device can measure it well, just as a 10 pounds alternative could do it. But the value in these devices would be that it collects data and you can see it in your phone and has history so you can track the weather changes. Well, it sucks in this. First of all, you can connect it only to one iphone not more. Second sometimes just randomly decide to lose its connections and you cannot connect it again. I have the Room and Weather and iphone ipod and ipad and after the connection is lost I did not managed to back the connection between any of them. I spent an hour the read here and there, nothing is clear why this happened and I do not have more time to solve this, because I just want a device that can collect data. I cannot imagine how this device can be so bad and why there is not even a reset button that with I could reset the connection (no.. taking the battery out did not solve it, reinstalling the app neither..) (Edit: there is a pinhole factory reset next to the batteries, will delete all data.. but can pair it again. Still no clue why the pairring lost between the iphone and eve-s) So again, buy netatmo or other devices because this will give you the wtf experience.

Battery power very poor
Had this product nearly 2 months now and as for how it works...brilliant very satisfied but today asked me for new batteries not so brilliant after such a short amount of time surely a product like this should last at least a year or come with a plug in the power source option

Seems alright so far... but not the most exciting gadget.
It's simple, and doesn't have to do much, but it's a shame it doesn’t' seem to sync the data in the background - so unless you are within range of the device, when you launch the app you might have a grey area in your charts that says something like "no data for 4 days". If you are within range, it still states the same message, but slowly starts to get data and that shrinks down until you are fully in sync. I have no way to tell if it is 100% accurate, (or even 1% accurate for that matter), but it seems to respond correctly with air quality being worse if there is less ventilation in my office, especially if I close my door and work late into the night with the computers on generating heat. So it seems to be measuring things correctly.

Five Stars
Perfect, Cant fault the device. HomeKit compatibility makes this device future proof.

Constantly failing to connect-update data
After 1year I can confirm that product is terrible. Poor range, constantly failing to connect-update data. Battery efficiency is very poor. Extremely overpriced, do not recommend.

Mixed bag, good potential
I like this product but it would be better if it would work with more than one device.

I bought the Eve to track the various data that it collects (air quality, temperature, humidity) around my house. We don't have a full weather system, and our thermostat is located in one room on the main floor of our house, so I wanted to find out how hard our AC/heating unit will have to work at various times of the year. Also, the temps on our top floor vary greatly from our basement, and I wanted to track what the actual differences are. Setup was easy, I popped in the batteries and entered the setup code into the app on my phone. It found the device right away, and I set it up in our main room, just to start. I was able to measure the temps & humidity fairly quickly, but the air quality took a while to register, which is fine. After a couple of days, I moved the unit into the room where we have our cat box to see if it would register on the air quality meter - it doesn't smell very good, and I didn't know if it would affect the air quality. After a few days, it didn't seem too bad, so I moved the unit downstairs to check the basement temperature & humidity vs. the main floor. Definitely cooler down there! By about 10 degrees, on average. The air quality seems to be better down there as well. The humidity is all over the place, seeing as how we're in a high plains location - one day it's dry, the next it's more humid if we get afternoon rains. I don't really track humidity with this, but it might be interesting to check it in the wintertime. Probably the most difficulty I've had with the unit (which wasn't much at all) has been changing rooms in the app. I couldn't find where to add a room at first, but figured it out shortly. I was able to rename the room as well, which was a nice touch. It seems to keep the data for each day, even if you've changed the room. I guess I had expected it to start from scratch. Makes it nice when doing these types of comparisons, though! Overall, the device is providing me with the information I wanted, which is perfect. I may add to this review in the winter, when the temperatures & humidity will change even more.

Works very well, it precisely gives me the room temperature, humidity, and air quality. These are home kit compatible which means you can use it via Siri, you can ask for temperature or humidity and siri will answer you back, very cool. Batteries last about 3 months (3xAA) I like this product so much i bought 2 of them for the living room and master bedroom.Highly recommended for people who needs to monitor the air quality in a room.

I've had this device for a few months now and I wish I could get a refund. Let me start by saying that it does ok with temperature and humidity but that's about it. I tested it, when it first arrived, in my bathroom as I applied a new coat of acrylic sealant to the shower tiles. It seemed to immediately pick up on the VOC's, so I had high hopes for it. Fast forward to recent times. It's finally fireplace weather and this device has failed miserably. In a room of about 500 sq. ft., and a guy that has poor fire starting abilities (read tons of smoke), this thing believes all is good with the world. Air quality is steady at 450ppm and just loves the smoke filled air. Now I'm not exaggerating here... Wood smoke filled room and this thing reads it as fine. By the metric, I supposed cigarettes are fine as well. The app was mostly terrible when it first came out but one looks past this in a new product. Also, of note, I always tested its VOC sensor by blowing a little air in the vents to see if it picked up the CO2, it worked in the beginning but now that does not even work. This was only done a few times, months ago, for testing. So, all I can surmise is that the sensor is defective or I have a zero-emission fireplace. My wood is a miracle of science... Or the sensor is garage? Doesn't really matter, this device is garbage and should not be considered for any serious monitoring because it is not accurate or the sensor fails within a couple months. Please, heed my warning. This device is not of a quality that is worth your health or life. Use for nothing more than novelty or temp/humidity monitoring. Even with humidity, buy a cheap device that is proven, so you can compare the two and ensure that it still works. Expensive toy.

For the price, this really isn't worth it. The first one of these I had ordered didn't work at all right out of the box -- nothing whatsoever. And it appeared to me as though it had already been used previously since there were very slight smudges on the face of the unit as well as uneven imperfections in the folds of the box, almost as though it had been opened before. Had to send it back. The replacement unit came in only a bubble envelope, so with little protection. The product box also had obvious 'wearing' in its folded flaps and one of the little adhesive stickers that keeps those folds closed was quite obviously re-sealed as it had smudges on its glue side. This time, however, at least the unit actually worked. But not as it should. It was super easy to set up and it is extremely accurate as tested against a couple of industrial devices I have on hand. But that's where the positives end. First impression is that it is constructed rather cheaply as there is no real weight to it at all, and it certainly does have that typical 'made-in-China' inferior quality to the feel of the plastic -- even though this is actually made in Taiwan -- which is worse. Another issue is that it often looses its bluetooth connection. I use an iPhone 6s Plus running multiple bluetooth devices. They all maintain their connections without issues. It's intergration with Apple Home Kit features are very inconsistent. One example is when asking Siri to read out what the room vitals are. It sometimes does so successfully, but about 50% of the time Siri will state it is unable to locate any devices. And a 100% of the time, Siri will never connect with the 'air-quality' sensor of Eve, I don't think that it even has that specific capability -- only temperature and humidity. I could be wrong, but so far no readings at all from Siri regarding air quality. The most frustrating aspect of this product is that it is obviously recognized and recommended by Apple since it has HomeKit capabilities, so you would think that it would, therefore, encompass a similar quality. Wrong again. I've come to realize as of late that anything carrying Apple's logos actually do not work very well at all. It's a very disturbing trend as I now equate such logos to products that are very sub-par.

Primera vez que compro un producto reacondicionado y, aunque no llevaba las pilas que decia incluir, funciona de maravilla. Simplemente he tenido que reiniciar el dispositivo antes de configurarlo de nuevo.
