LE CREUSET 3-Ply Stainless Steel Splatter Guard, 26cm to 30cm, 94006500000000

I'm very pleased with this strong, rigid, splatter guard which I bought to replace a guard that had bent in my kitchen drawer. The outer rim is a rigid strip of metal so it can't bend in the same way as the old one. The folding handle and its fixing are both good too. There is a wide ridged rim of silicone round the outside so the guard will fit various sizes of pan.

Very nice, its Le Creuset so it has to be. Quite pricey but i think worth it if youve invested in their frying pans. The rubber underside protects from scratching the non stick coating overtime like my last cheap ikea one did. Reduces the splatter considerably and the handle folds back if you want to store away. I would recommend.

Had the larger version of this for a while so when I saw this size was available I snapped it up. Its reassuringly solid construction and fine mesh make it a pleasure to use and very effective. I have not had any problems with the silicon being affected by the heat source and both sizes fit in the dishwasher (if you're reasonably organised about how you load things!).

Well, the wife was away and the cooked breakfast was down to me. (During the discussion we had on her return as to why I'd deemed it necessary to spend over twenty quid on a splatter guard, she said I'd had the heat too high!) However,regardless of the reason,during my brief tenure as cook,the fat was everywhere. We've got three splatter guards and none of them came to my rescue. Why does a woman have kitchen equipment that doesn't work? So in desperation I turned to Amazon. This splatter guard lives up to the Le Creuset name - quality,- and it works! What else do you need? It has a nice silicon edging to it,clever fold away handle and very little fat gets through the extremely fine gauze. Or maybe I've just learned to turn the heat down!

Le Creuset Stainless Steel Splatter Guard I reluctantly purchased this splatter guard due to the cost, however I am very pleased with it and I guess you get what you pay for. There are many cheaper non stainless steel alternatives on the market but they tend to discolour and eventually rust. The design of the Le Creuset splatter guard is very robust, build quality is excellent, the fine mesh minimises any splatter and the handle folds making it easy to load into my dishwasher. I would recommend this product to friends and family

As with all Le Creuset cookware, this is very well made. I love the fact the handle flips over and clips into place which means it will take up less room in the cupboard. Even better that it fits a range of pan sizes! Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless Steel Splatter Guard, 20-24 cm

The splatter guard has the feel of real quality with an excellent fine mesh. The handle is very solid and folds away for easy storage. However there is a major issue if you wish to use the product on a gas hob. Unfortunately after using the splatter guard on top of a frying pan on a gas hob the silicone trim had badly melted. The silicone trim was only in contact with the pan and had no direct flame but the heat from the edge of the pan damaged the trim after only one use. As a result this is not suitable for gas but may work fine on other hobs.

Bit pricey but works so very well.....much better than any other brand I have tried over the years. It's almost worth spending that amount cos it works so well.
