There are very few vitamin products that are actually any good when you look at them closely. Either the vitamins are in less easily-absorbed forms, or important ones are present in insufficient quantities. For instance, this is one of the few "A-Z"s I've seen that contains Magnesium in sufficient quantities that you wouldn't need to buy a separate supplement. Looking at the general makeup of it I see that (from my limited reading on the subject), it's making quite a decent attempt at providing men with the nutrients needed for correct hormone balance. That's borne out by my own experience, which is of course only anecdotal evidence... but after few days of taking these, I definitely feel more like I should do. I have more energy, am more grounded, level-headed, have more clarity and feel less helpless/depressed in stressful situations. My hair, skin and nails improve (and hair/nails grow quicker and stronger) - which is a good sign that something's going right. Another thing I've noticed is that the regular A-Z from a regular highstreet shop seems to have no effect on me (other than on my wallet) - and I tend to actually develop mouth ulcers when taking it. In contrast, taking these doesn't have this negative effect - and in fact, I don't think I've ever developed a mouth ulcer when taking these. So what's the catch/downside? -Well, they're pretty pricey (I hope you get what you pay for, as that would make these a source of immortality)! -They smell awful and taste even worse (but you don't buy vitamin tablets for the flavour and you swallow them quickly anyway, so it's not such a big issue). -They're not massive but they're definitely on the larger side, making them a bit less comfortable to swallow. -The recommended dose is 3 of them per day, compounding the first 3 downsides!! Given the high potency of these, you could probably take 1 per day, mitigating the cost slightly, and still see some benefits. So would I recommend them despite the listed downsides? Absolutely! I'd say if you don't buy these, then don't bother buying any vitamin tablets. You may as well pay a fortune for ones that actually work, rather than wasting a small amount of money on ones that have no effect whatsoever.

Really good multivitamins. I’ve been taking them daily and can feel more energy and focus. The quality is great, and they’re easy to swallow. A bit pricey, but worth it for such a trusted brand like Solgar. Definitely recommend.

Who knows if they work or not can't say I feel any different but what feels me with dread every time I have to take one is they are a large tablet to consume also my urine is a bright yellow.

I have been taking these for some 30 years in their various forms and as many others say, the smell and taste are something you will need to get used to and in my case I have to break them up to swallow given their size. The advertisement for them however, invariably shows the USA content, not what you receive in the UK which is not good. They have changed the colour to a more paler green and unless I am used to them, the taste is a bit easier on the palate. They no longer contain lycopene albeit the beta carotene can be a substitute but the advert says it does.

After getting sick 3 times in the space of a single month (thanks to this glorious bipolar UK weather) I figured it was time to admit I'm no longer the spring chicken I once was, and sought to seek out vitamin supplements. True, I could always do the best thing and source everything naturally, but in this busy 21st century, sometimes it's just not feasible. Anyway enough of my story. I was recommended these tablets by my Martial Arts instructor and I haven't looked back since. You're meant to take them 3 times a day and they're fairly big, so always gulp them down with generous amounts of water. Speaking of which, your wee wee (can I say that on here?) will turn greenish-yellow: from what I understand, this is the excess water-soluble vitamins expelled into the urine as they cannot be stored in the body (please correct me if I'm wrong!!). This shouldn't be a cause of concern, so don't be alarmed when you go for a slosh and start peeing neon colours out of your hose. Having said that, do drink lots of fluid every day, 1ml for every kcal of your daily energy expenditure! After taking these 3 times a day for over a month, I honestly can't say I feel better, but hopefully time will tell, and I hope that it will help keep illnesses at bay as that's why I originally started taking them. I will say though that my skin has gotten noticeably better. Yes, they're not cheap, but I have absolute confidence in this product and I'd definitely recommend these just for overall maintenance of health. I will continue taking these from now on. PS. I've read a few reviews about these tablets causing sleepless nights, I can confirm this isn't the case for me and that supposedly, earlier versions contained Ginseng. I've read the ingredients and the product as of now contains no Ginseng, which is a shame as I really struggle to get out of bed every morning. PS II. Also to the people that complain the tablets are too big or don't taste nice... when have Vitamin tablets ever tasted nice or been pleasant to swallow?? Maybe you should try kiddy vitamins, I hear they come in strawberry flavour.

It's not the same product as the "old" green label one. This one has not only different graphics but also much poorer ingredients.
