Is it non drip and is it suitable for each side of stairs, either side of treads? Thanks

It is not non drip but it's thick and covers well ,I found it stays white for a lot longer than oil based paint and would be ideal for sides of stairs.

Need dark gray paint for kitchen cupboards

Urban sky is fairly dark grey but when dry it has a blueish tinge to it, personally i find chalk or furniture paint is better for kitchen cabinets

Yes, it is. When I used all of this one, I have bought another one what was not water based. Then I realised how good was this one. It is without bad smell.

Can I use for kitchen cabinets?

Johnstone's Quick Dry Satin Paint is for use on wood and metal surfaces only. Kitchen cabinets often have a seal which requires a different paint in order to adhere to the surface. Johnstone's Revive Cupboard Paint is specifically for kitchen cupboards.
