I wet this when I climb so that my trousers do not fall below my climbing shoes which would mean I loose grip, it also ensures that my trousers remain fixed at the ankle which prevents snagging on the rocks.5 pairs in a pack and so far I have only needed 1 pair despite multiple uses… they are robust and are super easy to fit as they have a very simple latch like system.I would buy these again but I think 5 pairs will last me a while
