This really suds up at first, then the suds just stop. I used this all over my hair and scalp first. Then I used my moisturizing shampoo. Finished up with leaving my conditioner on for about 5 minutes. My ends were so much smoother than the times I skip washing them and just condition. I will use this either every week to every other week. I don’t feel as though it has a really strong scent that lingers, which is great! I have several friends with sensitivities. This seems alright to use.

I have short hair and only use very little, little goes a long way. Left my hair squeaky clean and ready for conditioner. The scent is light and pleasant. Great quality and effective on cleaning my hair.

I really like the Chi Clarifying Shampoo! It lathers very well and you don’t need to use very much. My hair is soft and clean after using and it does not strip my hair of moisture! I am older with arthritis in my hands. My only “complaint” is the diameter of the bottle. It is challenging for me to hold and squeeze the bottle - especially when it’s wet. I will continue to use the product, but I may switch it to a different bottle for ease of use.

I love how my hair looks and feels after using this shampoo. At my hairdresser's recommendation, I switched from washing 2-3 times per week with a moisturizing shampoo, to washing once a week with a clarifying shampoo. This was the first one I have tried. My hair loves the new regiment. It is soft and full but not frizzy and it looks and feels clean for a lot longer than with other shampoos. Unfortunately, I am very sensitive to and picky about scents and this is one I just do not like. I'm not sure how to describe the scent, other than slightly floral and a bit reminiscent of baby powder. The scent does not linger on my hair though, especially after using conditioner and leave-in, which I am thankful of. I am going to finish off the bottle but I hope I can find something that produces a similar result with a different fragrance for the future.

I used to use neutrogena clarifying shampoo and while that really cleans the gunk out of my hair, it strips my hair too much to the point that rinsing it is hard coz I can’t comb thru my hair from being too squeaky clean! This one doesn’t dry out my hair as much and still feels soft even after rinsing. It’s supposed to have a slight scent and although it’s not overpowering I’m not a huge fan of it. I just use a shampoo I like the smell of right after!

Love this shampoo. I have a super sensitive scalp and this shampoo is all I use as a clarifier. It really helps keep my hair and scalp clean.

My hair is natural. I don't use moisturizers just a little hair balm after it dries. This shampoo left my hair extremely clean, however, I noticed it seemed extra dry after. So I am not a fan. However, I don't like moisturizers and shampoos that leave your hair feeling greasy. So if you have conditioner build up this shampoo is for you.

Had to find a new shampoo after Not Your Mother's stopped making Plump for Joy regular shampoo (RIP 😭😭🙏). This shampoo has SAVED ME. I'm bi-racial with curly hair, but very FINE curly hair...I also have 13 million and 1 different allergies. I've tried many-o-shampoo since NYM abandoned me. This is this ONLY ONE that makes my hair feel soft and CLEAN clean without stripping it all to hell to the point where my curl pattern is quaking <or> leaving a nasty gunky feeling at my root and not actually cleaning my hair [or just straight up making me break out in hives (re: hella allergies thing)] .....Even with my old NYM, my very fine hair was prone to oilness and clumping pretty quickly after washing it....This clarifying shampoo has extended my time between wash days by CENTURIES (O_O) [without starting with my hair being drier than the Sahara on Day 0/freshly washed]. I dont know if the ph thing is just workin for my scalp??? Ooorrr??? CHI has found a way to bottle magic??? Whatever the case, I am LIVING. CHI, I am begging you, PLEASE KEEP MAKING THIS!!!
