I am confused by one reviewer's comment that this is a powder that must be mixed. I've only ever had a product like peanut butter ... which is it?

I just bought this last week and it is not a powder. It is a thick paste - consistency similar to peanut butter.

Does this product have a bitter aftertaste? made some using a store bought brand and it tasted bitter.

I use this in hummus and it is absolutely delicious. I have bought tahini from the store and it is no where near as good as this product.

Is it one or two pounds? The header says 2 jars, description says 1 lb in each jar but shipping weight says 1 lb.

You get 2 16oz plastic jars for a total of 2 lbs. Before writing review I weighed the jar I hadn't opened yet and it was just over a lb. Seller's shipping weight description is incorrect.
