Burnt well and last longer

Wish I had bought this years ago.. Easy lighting fab!

The product is great - shame about the packaging- it arrived split.

These are the only coals we buy for our bbq as they are fool proof for non experts like us. They light well every time and the coals stay super hot throughout our bbq and even hot enough to do the marshmallows for dessert. We generally use 2 bags per bbq as we have a long rectangular bbq and we are a big family (9 ppl). Definitely recommend.

We were camping out, when a huge thunderstorm hit! The posh inflatable tents collapsed, people's belongings were floating by, lightning flared, thunder crashed... As soon as the worst passed, I nipped out to the firepit, and surreptitiously shoved a bag of this charcoal deep into the sodden wreck of the cook fire. A quick flick of the trusty lighter and up it whooshed. We got to sit an waft the smells of a full roast dinner around the site while all the (woefully unprepared) others trudged about with soggy sarnies. It was sick makingly magnificent, and I don't think I have ever been as smug in my life!

Convenient for a portable BBQ, but just don't burn as long as other products I use.

One of the few things in life that I know the cost of! I use them to start the boiler fire in our steamboat. The 1kg bags are just the right size to fit through the firehole so buy them regularly - this was the best deal around at the time of purchase - it used to be around £1/kg but I guess those days are long gone!
