Stylish and well made with nice two colour leather. Useful because without it the key has no proper place whilst driving, so it slides around, over time creating marks on the car interior surfaces, and distressing the key itself. Comes in a BMW box, in fact from a BWM UK dealer so it has to be genuine.

I can understand some poor reviews - the cover is loose but it will soon mould into shape. My reason for buying was to help avoid accidental presses and thus unlocking the car unintentionally. It serves its purpose but is a bit pricey. But then again, it will last much longer than you're likely to keep the car.

The material quality seems good, but the manufacture is awful. It looks like it doubles the size of the key as the leather tries to unfold against the metal clasp. I'm also pretty sure they sent a previously returned one as it's got signs of being worn and dirty. Key for size comparison in some pictures.

Nothing very nice

Think they could have done MUCH better for the price. The key fits in rather loosely, the leather comes away from the metal clip around the edge... just overall feels a bit unfinished.

Genuine leather

Good loooking cover made of good material . However the top side -where it is not fixed to the key- is too wide and the key keeps falling out if it . I dropped the key once and it didn't protect it as it is too lose . I visited a local BMW dealer to make sure it is genuine product and found out that it is genuine!! . It is just badly made and doesn't protect all parts of your key. Unfortunately there is no alternative in the market and the is the best one can get .

Encaixa na perfeição e boa qualidade

Da ich aufgrund der schlechten Bewertungen gezögert hatte, überhaupt zu bestellen (1x M Sport blau und 1x Sport rot), möchte ich nun ausführlich berichten, da sich viele Themen nun ganz anders darstellen und ich sagen muss , manchmal hilft einfach etwas Information und auch eine Portion gesunder Menschenverstand: Zunächst die Modellreihen: ich habe zwei Etuis für den 3er Touring (Bj. 2017/F31) bestellt. Es passt perfekt und somit dürfte es zumindest für alle aktuellen(!) BMWs der 3er (F30/31/34/80)und 4er Reihe (F32/33/36/82/84) gelten. Zur Optik und Material: Ich war fast schon überrascht. Entgegen meiner Erwartung ist die Spange aus Metall und das Etui aus Leder mit Stoffinlay. Es entspricht daher 100% dem Foto und die Haptik ist genau , wie man es vom Material erwarten kann, hochwertig. Jetzt zur Passgenauigkeit: Ggf mein Glück, dass ich zwei Etuis bestellt habe. In eines passte der BMW Schlüssel perfekt und in das zweite nicht so optimal, er guckte vorn etwas heraus! Also habe ich einen feinen und kleinen Unterschied bemerkt, der hoffentlich allen hilft, die ähnliches bemerken oder ggf sogar denken , dass Etui ist nicht passgenau/mangelhaft: Einfach -bevor der Schlüssel eingesetzt wird- darauf achten , dass durch die Lagerung die LANGE LEDERSEITE nicht zu eckig ist. Zu Beginn das Etui etwas zusammendrücken (3-4x) und einen runden Rücken formen (wie ein runder Buchrücken statt eines kantigen Leitzordners muss es aussehen). Dann passt der Schlüssel perfekt hinein. Die Schraube: sie lässt sich mit Geduld und einigen Umdrehungen lösen. Klar man muss schon etwas Geduld und vorallem Feingefühl mitbringen, es ist ja kein IKEA-Regal... Ggf steckt der Stift zwischen den Lederseiten fest, obwohl er sich bereits gelöst hat. Hier einfach mehrmals gucken und vorsichtig herausschieben/ziehen. Fazit daher: wenn man oben alles beachtet , top, und gewohnt gute BMW Qualität!
