how big is the box, as i need to pack in suitcase?

I don't have the box as it was a present but I seem to remember it was approx 24"x15"x4" (roughly!!!!)

Are Brio Trains and Bigrig Trains compatible as to gauge and scale etc.? And is there any connection between the two: Subsidiary, manufacturer etc.?

I'm sorry but I do not know if Bigrig trains and Brio trains are compatible as I have only ever bought Brio.All good wishes for 2015.
