Do you like MORE POWER? I got my kid the Best Choice Products jeep ( right here on Amazon!) a couple of years ago for his second birthday. Needless to say 2 year olds aren't great drivers and it wasn't used much over the next couple of years. Now at 4, he's finally into driving it, but the battery was getting a little tired and our bumpy lawn in the backyard bogged it down even further. I've seen kits like this before, but couldn't justify pulling the trigger with his mediocre driving skills. Now that he's got much better coordination, I thought it was time for an upgrade. Except for the lack of any instructions, installation was fairly quick and easy with few tools needed and everything you need is included, even a few extra fuses which come in handy if you don't want to fry the controller or motors with the added wattage. All the original functions such as remote control, lights, and radio still work perfectly. The speed control switch still slows it down to about the "high" speed with the stock battery which is nice if you take it on paved surfaces so you don't get left in the dust. High speed will have you at a brisk walk bordering on a jog, so I only really let him use it on soft surfaces like grass. The remote controll works nicely as a panic button when he starts to get too far out.

I bought this item and it works well, the only issue is you will not be able to un attach the switch because the one I received had the wires solder to the terminals. Luckily i had the tools to melt the ends off and disconnect them. And finally you will end up putting your own terminals.
