Q: how do I clean the nail file? Or is it supposed to be disposable?

Water should do it :) But to be honest, I only really bought it for the amazing nail clippers. My little one of almost six and we still use it.

Q: My son is 6, is he too old for these clippers?

We do not put a maximum age for these to be used. It would depend on the size of your child's nails.
