Well packaged and in perfect condition. Once I ripped the plastic off, I expanded it with my fingers. It was incredibly easy to fit around my 4" opening, and it didn't tear (like traditional aluminum). Because it's coated on the outside, it prevents this from happening. I installed it in minutes. Great seal, no issues.

This dryer vent worked wonders in our limited space behind dryer. I could finally push the dryer back far enough to have walking space in front of dryer. This is an excellent product and sturdy.

ok this is just aluminum foil colored black on the outside and silver on the inside, it is a hair small so you will have to be-careful putting it on or it will tear"I unfolded the end that helped" it slipped nicely into the dryer " that 4"pipe is usually tapered " the exit pipe a true 4" was a lot of wiggling but it does manage to get on "at least for me "the clamps are solid but the drive nut isn't 1/4" like everyone I've ever seen...... it's metric and a hair over1/4" you will have to use a flat head "slot" screwdriver anyway that is everything you need to know........:)
