Lastolite by Manfrotto LL LA2401 Tilthead with Spigot

I currently own 5 of these items. I bought 3, 5 years ago, and have now bought an additional 2 from Amazon. This tilt head is very strong as it's made out of cast aluminum. I use them to hold Alien Bees and other monolights. If you need to point a moonlight at a 45, or 90 degree angle, or anything in between, this is one of the very few devices that will let you do that. The wheel that controls the angle of the spigot has click stops. It's not a free wheeling device. So, you need to use some force to actually turn it. This is good, because it makes it hard to accidentally unwind it. Since I use it to hold monolights, this is a very good thing. After 5 years, I have yet to have any of them fail on me in any way and I tend to beat up on my photo gear as I travel a lot to shoot photos. It's well worth the price.

Excellent item allowing me to angle my lastolite softbox and beauty box. I was rather surprised that this does not come as part of the beauty box and ezybox as you are generally going to need to angle these downwards towards your model.

A good sturdy produce but well over priced in my opinion

This tilthead with spigot is well made and does exactly what it should. If I purchase another lightstand and need a new tilthead I would have no problems buying this product again.

As expected from Lastolite. A solid all metal accessory, that works well. Highly recommended! Good value too for under £20, but shop around for second hand deals.
