MALE thread - worked great for me
Fantastic. Bought to replace a expansion tank valve on my heat pump boiler system.I don't recommend replacing this yourself unless you know what you're doing - but it's just PTFE tape.Watch out for the bottom connector, in this variation it is a MALE thread.I bought the wrong one first. I also needed a MALE-MALE converter, taken from my existing valve.

If you are not using a pressure gauge then you will need to purchase a separate 1/4 male cap.
