Penhaligon's Vaara Eau de Parfum

Finally I got it, the shops don't sell Vaara anymore. Beautiful, long lasting scent. Quick delivery and good packaging.

This is not a fragrance for everyone. It's heady, strong, bold, fresh all at the same time...one of my personal favourites. Was half price on Amazon.

Vaara is a heady floral-oriental (floriental) perfume with strong hints of jasmine and a lasting, not too sweet, fragrance which is perfect for late evenings.This is probably not a wise choice for the office, but as something sophisticated, exotic and romantic, it is a softly-spoken but distinctive fragrance with rich mid-tones after the slightly pungent high-note.If you are seeking something other than Chanel No5, this is certainly worth at least trying.

It looks beautiful and smells lovely but I have to return it as it has induced me to cough and feel wheezy.I usually get this sort of reaction to cheaper perfumes which I would not put Penhaligons in.

Beautiful presentation box, the top of the perfume doesn't stay on, and it's not a rich smell from a perfume that is so expensively yet so small.
