Assembly Advice - Remove Hidden Packing Material Taped to Umbrella Ribs
This is a very nice umbrella. I paired it with a water-filled weighted base for stability. The unit is well made and is easy to assemble, BUT, you need to know something before assembling which is not apparent:There is some hidden packing material that is taped around the ribbed structure that is completely hidden under the umbrella fabric. We had no idea this was taped to the ribs and it prevented the umbrella from unfurling using the crank. Fortunately, I didn’t force the crank when it initially failed to open the umbrella. I investigated and discovered at least 8 pieces of foam / bubble wrap taped to the inner rib structure. It was obviously there to protect the fabric, but it is completely hidden from view. You must remove this prior to assembly. I suggest removing the packing prior to inserting the shaft of the upper column into the lower shaft. Do this while the umbrella is lying flat on the ground. I had to use a ladder to remove the packing once the shaft was assembled because I didn’t know the taped packing was there. Follow this advice and assembly and use will be a breeze.

Don’t Look For Parts. Great Product.
I returned this item because I thought there were missing parts and screws. There AREN’T any. It uses the same 4 screws that are used on the old stand frame. Wish they would have mentioned that. Otherwise, it was extremely easy to mount with 2 people. Looks great in the brown color.

Sturdy umbrella with some delivery issues
Once I finally got this umbrella up, it is very nice and surprisingly easy to move around and take down. It takes two to assemble, and you need to be good with a screw driver and IKEA style instructions. Getting all the pieces required for assembly in the box was took a while (missing hardware), but customer service is very responsive and had it delivered within the week. You must have a weighted base (not included) in order for it to stay up in its fully deployed horizontal position. The water filled one (B09MT42TJT) has worked well for us so far. Once it's anchored, it is very well balanced for adjusting the angle both vertically (pitch) and horizontally (rotate), barely an inconvenience. The cover is a nice touch, and despite the height of the umbrella, getting the cover on is not hard. This thing is heavy and huge, and it seems to be well built. Far better than most umbrellas we've had in the past. One year followup: Still going strong, you need to take it down in windy weather, but that takes 15 seconds. Left it out all winter under its cover, still in great shape this spring. We bought a second one for a saltier location so we'll see how it holds up to that. The good news is they've sorted out their QA problems and all the pieces arrived in a blister pack so no assembly issues this time.

High Quality, Happy with Purchase, but put it down in the rain
This thing is huge, very easy to assemble and the quality bar is pretty high. We’ve owned 3 of this type of umbrella and this is by far feels like the highest quality and best engineered one. Only negative once it’s assembled is that it will collect rain water badly enough to fall over (and we got the recommended stand) if you leave it open at one of the tilted angles. It also comes shipped with a VERY HARD TO GET AT styrofoam brace with tape that is almost impossible to reach on the inside that prevents you from opening it. It was a huge pain to get at it during assembly, and we almost broke the umbrella trying to open it the first time because of this hard to find, impossible to see, and difficult to remove part of assembly.

Quality Product Great Customer Service
I am very satisfied with this cantilevered umbrella. Unlike many on the market it came with both a cross stand and a protective cover for the umbrella when it is closed. It is well built, sturdy, and easy to put together. When I assembled my umbrella I noticed a small tear and imperfections in the fabric. I contacted the company via Amazon's message system. The company's response was immediate. They went out of their way to communicate with me throughout the process of figuring out the best way to handle the matter. The company offered a number of ways to address the issue. I requested that they provide a new fabric umbrella to place over the umbrella frame. They sent me videos showing how to do so and today I received the new fabric for my umbrella. I have rarely experienced such good customer service.

Fantastic Umbrella
We were looking for a sturdy umbrella to give us shade over our outdoor table for eight. Prior umbrellas were blown over by the wind despite having heavy blocks with planters on them as a base. So far, this umbrella has been fantastic. I really like the cover - hopefully it will preserve the color. We also purchased the Mojia Cantilever Weighted Base with Wheels 220 lbs.I hope this lasts for many years. It was a bit tricky to put the umbrella together. The video was slightly helpful, but not perfect. I missed a part when putting it together and it didn't make any sense. It took about an hour to put it together (because I missed a step). It would be helpful if the instructions were more detailed rather than the 10,000 foot IKEA type instructions.

Not the same.
I have one of these years ago and I still have it qnd love it, but this model has a soft top which allows the pole and umbrellla top to lean in what ever direction the umbella is shading. I suggest passing on this one and buying one that is more study and a heavier model top, the umberella is already weight in balanced and so you would want to get one that is holding your unit vertically.
