This is excellent choice for woodworkers to finish projects thjat need to be food safe. Gives a hard durable surface and wears longer than the mineral oil finishes. I use multiple coats starting with a 50-50 dilution of orange oil and gradually increasing the concentration. This brand is much more economical than its competitors and I have been very pleased with the final outcome.

I don’t like the smell of BLO, but I love the finish. This is the perfect replacement for me. I can apply with my hands with no lingering nasty odor. Excellent moisturizer too 😂 This is real pure Tung oil. No thinners or polymerizing accelerants. Wipe on, let the wood soak it up for a minute, wipe off. Reapply if necessary. I use it for shop tools: handles, jigs, etc. Furniture that doesn’t need a varnish. Also my favorite fret board oil for guitars, etc. So much better for the wood than specialty products. I haven’t used the brush. Probably never will.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: concentrated formula. mix 2 to one. it works great. penetrates well. Thickness: Concentrated therefore it is very user friendly ..goes a long way. order some pain thinner if you are buying it.

While it seems like a lot of oil, our dry antique mantle soaked it all in!! Dries quickly, even appearance. The brush is total junk however, loses bristles instantly… get your own

My outdoor wooden raised garden bed starts to get moldy so I sanded it a little and applied tung oil. I can see that water drops on the wood surface instead of being soaked now. The brush included made it even easier to apply. Love it

I had never heard of this product until I researched products to use for a wooden garden. It was easy to use with a medium paint brush. It has a semi strong scent, so you will need to paint the wood outside in the open air. It gave the wood a nice, natural color too. I haven't put the flower box together yet, so I hope it works for the outside elements. It was a great buy on Amazon compared to other sites.
