This has really good power. Lots of settings, easy to setup. I have a 170 litre, 3 1/4 foot wide aquarium & due to the availble settings, for the most part i have it on the lowest power setting. I sometimes up it and change the flow to an intermittent one, which my freshwater mostly small to medium size fish really dont mind. Theres a handy night setting along with a feeding setting. Theres also a number of features i havent used. Even though my tank isnt huge, im still tempted to buy another one. As the one i have i use more for surface agitation. However it does circulate the water well.One thing i really love is that whe plant leaves break off/die they end up floating into one area of the tank so i dont have do do a full sweep and the same can be said for detritus. When i get build ups it end up in one back corner of my tank which makes it really easy to vac up between water changes.The only thing id mention is if youve got really small fish. They might be able to swim into it and get caught. My neon tetras and guppies have been fine. But one of my otocinclus got itself trapped in it. I thought it was dead, i got it out and it swam off, but wasnt moving as much and died later that day.If you dont have one of these, I highly recommend it!!!

Good flow on these and I like the control panel and the fact you can connect them together. Lost a star as they are quite bulky and the wire position where it goes into the pump would be betting on the side so you can move up and down as having the wire upwards so it’s less visible stops you pointing it upwards

The media could not be loaded.  Ordered these in December and worked great but a few days ago one of the motors burned out and all pond solutions were very quick to respond to my warranty request and had my pump diagnosed and a replacement head was sent and received within a week. The other pump is still going as strong as the day I received them. Would definitely recommend

Update: 3 years later and still going strong!!!Perfect for my 6ft African Cichlid Aquarium - I have always only had power heads, but decided on something more sophisticated. The fish enjoy it, lining up to swim, I wish I had these sooner as I've been through maybe 5 or 6 power heads in my time. This model is VERY strong, and I reduce it to half speed.The pros are:1. Very strong magnet which holds very well (Previously had suction cup style which tended to loosen over time)2. Fantastic options from 'Random mode' to 'Night mode' which has lots of benefits from saving power to being a little more interesting for the fish3. Can connect multiple Wave Makers - I will probably end up buying another, and the fact they can 'team up' with the Master/Slave mode is a great featureIt's not the cheapest option, but for the reasons above if you can afford to 'pimp your tank' I would get this over a power head because you cannot do any of the above with traditional powerheads.

Sent an open box, plugged in to test, the remote doesn't always work it spins up some times makes some noise and then stops working, you have to wiggle the cables or tap it to try and get it going again that's if it does or even stays on for more tha 2 seconds. Dont waste your time with this.

Great controls (LEDs are a too bright at night but okay inside a cabinet), barely audible, great performance. Good VFM. I have a 95-100l Malawi tank and it's brilliant for surface water agitation, my fish are more active when it's on although I leave it on all the time. Great for pushing debris towards filter intakes too.Updated: Sadly the wavemaker itself just suddenly died out of warranty period.Updated May 2020: After months of not using this, I decided to retry it before purchasing another after reading a little tip on the manufacturer's website. Apparently the controller needed to reset itself which it does when unplugged, so I plugged it in and it's working again! I don't understand why as I tried this before but I'll take it!

Very happy with it to start with, but like others have said mine also stopped working just after 12 months. Motor I think, and cleaned with no issues so not dirty.

Ne vous fier pas aux infos fournis !! C'est indiqué 500L/H minimum , or je ne sais même pas si il y a 100L/H !! Convient tout juste pour un bocal à poisson , mais pas plus .l'article vient d'Angleterre donc grosse galère pour le renvois ( vu que c'est à ma charge ) .Je vais donc le mettre sur leboncoin.
