Easy to use-easy to clean
This is one of several versions of the Phillips pasta maker. The unit is easy to use and allows you to make home made pasta in less than 30 minutes. Well written instructions, well made unit and very good results by simply following the directions. I have made several different types of pasta and the best thing is the pasta taste great and it is easy to clean the maker when you finish.https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01DK9AQ06/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2

You can teach an old dog new tricks!
I'm 64 and had never tasted fresh pasta, even though I'm half Italian. Go figure. So I pulled the trigger and purchased this Pasta Machine. Even though I'm a man, I read the directions first. I placed 600 grams of Semolina flour in, the prescribed amount of liquid, and 3 minutes later fresh spaghetti was oozing out of the die. After cooking, the texture and taste opened up a whole new world to my buds! Walla. They say that the gateway to a man's heart is through his stomach, they're right. Do your significant other a favor and don't make them wait any longer to experience bliss. Make the purchase now. Clean up is a breeze as well. There's no limit to imagination, you can create all kinds of pasta with it and dishes too. Hey, start getting jiggy wid it!

So far so good - but no lasagna
Unfortunately tried to use it to make lasagna. Bad idea. The round shape prevents a flat sheet. I should have seen that coming.

We love it!
Fantastic machine. Easy to use and clean up is a breeze. We have found that letting it rest for about 20 minutes prior to extruding yields more pasta and less waste.

Frustrating
I bought this as a Christmas gift and returned it immediately. I was so excited to use this since it is supposed to be so easy, foolproof and quick to use. It took us 4 hours to make three small batches of pasta. Granted we had to read the directions and all, but we also ended up throwing away the flour we dumped in there at least 5 times. The machine is so finicky and the 3 batches we finally managed to make weren't consistent throughout the extrusion.....the beginning is very dry and grainy and then about 1/4 of the way thru, it becomes smooth and good. The manual indicates the machine might have to rest after 45 minutes of use. I can't see how anyone could make more than one batch at a time, since we figured out the only way it would work is if we washed the entire machine after each batch. I don't know if mine was just a faulty machine, but I knew I couldn't continue with it.I'm at a lose now as to which machine to buy. I feel I can't trust Philips, but they are the highest rated. How or why does this get such great marks?

Homemade pasta made easy
I've had the Philps Pasta Maker for a month now and have made several batches of pasta. From angel hair to ravioli it all comes out fantastic. It literally takes longer to boil the water than it does to make the pasta. Hands down great buy for pasta lovers.

I would definitly buy again and would recomend to anyone who likes pasta. Pricey but you get what you pay for.
This things is fantastic. Easy to use, easy to clean and amazing pasta every time. I would spend the extra few dollars to get this unit versus the white one with half of the adapters and no weight scale. Most definitly worth the extra few dollars. Very customizable and great variety of pasta can be made. The auto weigh feature is great. It is also smaller than I expected. About the size of a small bread maker. I also find it very quiet for this kind of appliance. My wife cringed when I told her I was going to get this. Another gadget....that will never get used....yet she has realized that we use it about twice a week...and has also recommended it to our friends and family. Now if only it would also automate my sauce making.....Philips?

Love It!
Very easy to use and to clean if you follow instructions and measure correctly. If I were to make a suggestion, however, it would be for the manufacturer to produce discs that allow for thinner strands of pappardelle and fettuccine in addition to the ones that come with machine - ones you could buy separately if required according to personal taste. I made pappardelle and I found the pasta strands a bit thick. My cooking time was about 13 minutes and they were still al dente. I used a mixture of semolina and all purpose flour in equal ratio and eggs as well as the suggested ml of liquid. I’m wondering if putting in a small amount more of liquid would produce thinner strands. I also find the price a little high but its a high quality product. After I bought it from Amazon the price went down another $30.Other than that I’m very pleased with the machine and look forward to using it for my family who loves home made pasta.

delicious pasta
so far have used only once-a friend told me to buy semonlina flour-at first had difficult time finding it so bought stelth flour and made the recipe half and half all purpose flour. First batch turned out perfect--loved it. second batch to follow got plugged up-probably my fault as i didn't extricate remaining dough nor did I clean it after first use. Froze the pasta and when used it out of the freezer into boiling water it broke into pieces-not sure why. Don't think it would happen if cooked fresh. Maybe needed to be thawed but one wouldn't think so. Looking forward to many uses in the future. Watched various videos online and found it very helpful and it does give many tips on use and cleaning. Very happy

Nice and fast but annoying to wash
Gets you fresh pasta in no time. We stopped purchasing most type of pasta since we bought this. Only one we still buy are lasagna pasta because GF hated working with fresh lasagna pasta from machine. These things all get stuck together.. annoying to deal with.Properly Washing this machine takes about as long as it takes to make the pasta. I want it to be like new so yeah it takes time to wash.
