ND made easy (to understand)
Daniel has distilled his years of experience into a succinct guide that gets the facts over incredibly well.As an autistic parent of an autistic girl I feel heard by this book. There are powerful takeaways for the home and workplace.

A great, engaging guide to ND
This is a great intro to the world of ND. Daniel’s passion for the subject is obvious and it’s a super digestible and quick read. I liked the practical tips you can implement now to make your work place more inclusive.

A guide for everyone
This is an excellent introduction and possible go to starting point for everyone meeting neurodiverse people. I listened to the audio version at my comfortable listening speed and it only took me an hour to finish the book the first time, a well spent hour; I’m going to listen again as there was so much good information presented. As we all constantly meet neurodiverse people, knowingly or unknowingly, diagnosed and undiagnosed, this is actually a book everyone should read and have access to. As a teacher I realise everyone has a different way of handling the world; my viewpoint is just that mine. I am always looking for resources to expand my knowledge in this area of neurodiversity to help me understand and consider how I can change things I have control over to help others who experience and handle the world from their individual and therefore probably different viewpoint. This book gave me a lot to think about, and ideas to try and put into practise with the pupils I meet. But it also highlights the issues beyond school. In my role as a Union Official I can see this book having a direct positive impact for employees, HR, managers and directors of public and private businesses and organisations. Thank you to John Murray PressUK Audio and NetGalley for the audio ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.

A really useful intro for any company
This was a very simple, clear 101 to Neuro Diversity, which I think should be available in every company HR department, and all corporate managers advised to read it. Read by the author, it feels geared towards businesses and should lend itself to educational institutions too. If someone is looking for an in-depth scientific study, then this will come across as a school report, but as a pocket introduction to neurodiversity for neurotypical people it’s an excellent start point. I’ll be recommending it.
