great small book for the exam with lots of detail

This book provides information and sample video regards latest format of MRCPCH Clinical Examination.DVD gives me an idea about real situation of examination. It also demonstrate common mistakes students did in the examination.I would recommend to my friends.

Good and nicely laid outStarts from basics and goes on to demonstrate the exam scenariosTHe DVD is helpful as it gives you an idea how to approach the actual station.The musculoskeletal chapter is new and unique to other available study guides and is very useful.The chapter on short strature examination and eyes will prove helpful as these are not routinely seen in day to day acute paediatric practice and can be easily overlooked while preaparing for the examCongratulations on producing such a helpful guide.

Not a very good bok for exam prepration.Key points areLess exam sceneriosMore theoratical stuff and few diagrams/picturesSmall print making readng difficultMusculoskeletal has got extensive detail which is not required in examDVD examination except few stations is not up to the standards expected in clinical exams like engaging child ,showing empathy,performing exam with time constrains.DVD is a brilliant idea and i really appreciate that.but it would have been better if included lot of cases with finding to make it more informative rather than just focusing on exam techniques.As working in DGH there is less opportunity to see cases with findings though you can practice to polish your generic skills.Moreover, courses are very expensive though one finds more chance of seeing cases with positive findings.Therfore, a book with less text more pictures, and lot of vedios showing patients with positive findings would be more appreciated.
