Burns hot and easy to light
The lumps we received were HUGE, we actually had to break some up with a hammer to fit in the BBQ. They were easy to light and burnt very hot. I felt they didn't last as long as expected, however we will try again as we might have had too much air flow. Really good quality charcoal.

A blaze of glory for a successful BBQ
Honestly, I felt compelled to leave a review after seeing others. For me, I’ve got to say this is some of the best Lumpwood charcoal I’ve bought due to the size of the pieces and longevity in burning time. For this works really well with not just Restaurant Grade Charcoal, but so well with smoking wood of all types. It’s been said that it’s hard to light, but for me I found if you use 3 natural firelighters spread amongst your coals - you’ll be up and running in no time. *If you struggle to light your coals, use an odourless firelighter (the ones made in Denmark work best for me.

Used in pizza oven - would have been better if lump sizes were a bit more consistent.
Firstly, I've no idea if my using it was suitable , it went in an Ooni when baking to avoid the temperature dropping too low - I'd hoped this would mean using less of my hardwood kindling, but alas, I ended up using quite a bit still. Some of the lumps were massive, and took a while to light, and whilst I'd buy this agin, I'd opt for the briquette form - nothing stopping me from bashing it into smaller bits, but still. I imagine in a Kamodo or something it's great.
