How do the birthday cake quest bars taste? i'm confused has the company changed the formula of the quest bars? why are people finding mold on the bars

Hey there! The birthday cake quest bars' flavor tastes just like a vanilla cake with frosting. Personally I love the taste of the Birthday Cake bar the best, but that's me! (Justin) We changed our formula almost 2 years ago when we changed our fiber source so there is nothing recent as far as formulation change, this is just a new flavor we're trying out! As far as the mold goes though, we do not use any preservatives in our bars, and we don't expect mold to grow within the 'best by' period -but in some rare cases that does happen, and we open a quality assurance report as well as honor a replacement.
