Short Stories In Italian for Beginners Volume 2 Bilingual Edition

Olly Richards does a great job writing stories that use a wide variety of vocabulary and tenses, yet not too difficult to frustrate a semi beginning student of Italian. The stories are interesting and provide a good review of vocabulary. I also like the fact that volume 1 and 2 come in audio format to practice auditory skills as well. I highly recommend these resources.

I finished volume one and volume 2 is as good as the first one. This one is a little bit more complicated. The sentences are more elaborate and the verbs have more conjugations. It makes it a good tool for those who are learning the language.

It was very fun to read. Simple lenguaje that made it very easy to understand.

I really enjoyed reading these short stories in Italian; easy to follow , understand and fun from start to finish; short enough to not tire a beginner but also just right to keep the interest and challenge the comprehension step by step

Two excellent books by Olly Richards for Italian learners (both volume 1 & 2 are fabulous). His chapters are just the right length as are each short story (3 chapters for each short story). After each short story there are vocabulary words, a summary and a few comprehension questions at the end. I bought the Kindle edition which allowed me to highlight words or phrases to study later. This is an excellent series for Italian language learners. I'm on to the Intermediate level as well as the Spanish editions...thanks Olly!

Great resource. Author should think about putting definition of difficult words next to words themselves rather than a few pages away.It would make it easier on an ebook to readMy two bobs worth
