The Adventures of Tintin Volume 8: The Official Classic Children’s Illustrated Mystery Adventure Series (The Adventures of Tintin Omnibus, 8)

All eight volumes represent a high quality way of having the complete Tin Tin stories. Well worth while my only complaint is that the print is slightly too small at times.

Contents are typical Tintin - so you know what you're getting, albeit in a more compact, hardback volume. I would have rated this 4 stars - but deducted 1 star because they CHANGED THE COVERS OF ALL THESE BOOKS BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO BUY VOLUME 8. Why change what was a lovely cover to a less attractive one. I have been buying the other volumes but now I can only Volume 8 in the original cover for stupid money from price - gougers! Annoyed.

The last in the 8 series of volumes contains 'Flight 714 to Sydney', 'Tintin and the Picaros' and Herge's unfinished work ' Tintin and the Alph art'. Its a must for Tintin lovers. As always, Herge has proved his mastery on the storyline, details of surroundings with vivid colours, exceptional minute detailing. Those seemed to be ahead of his times. The last story was unfinished, but I like the way as it is.

When I placed the order, it showed the book had 4 stories - The Castafiore Emerald, Flight 714, Tintin & Picaros, Tintin & Alph Art. But the first story is not in the book as it ought to be... anyway very interesting book for children
