Durable. Holds up to my destructive cockatoo. He was frustrated for a couple hours being able to see his favorite treats but couldn’t get to them. He figured it out quickly though.

This forager is great for my poicephalus parrot. 1) the large size allows you to fit a variety of food 2) the plastic seems very durable and I don’t believe it could break easily 3) the design makes it easy to clean. I use this for fresh fruits and veggies, and my bird loves it!

This product is listed as being for large birds, so it is my fault for not researching further. The pictures that go with this item show medium (conure) & small (parakeet) birds. I have a pineapple green cheek conure and this she is only slightly taller than this. I am concerned that the weight of the top could potentially cause her head to get caught as it is quite heavy. While it is far too big for her, I imagine it would be great for a large bird, like a macaw. This is very sturdy, is made of a very thick plastic (acrylic?), seems well crafted, and I would 100% buy another that was of the proper size. I removed a star from my would-be-5* rating due to the poor representation of the size in the pictures. I have decided to keep this toy as my birb enjoyed pushing the top off it to get a treat as I had it sitting on the counter- and she is normally very leery of new toys. I will just make sure to always be supervising when she plays with it.

Be very careful with these. Lasted less than a week and found our Green Wing chewing on the metal link from the chain and hooked around her bottom bill. Ironically, my Green Wing has had the same wooden toys in her cage for months
