Amazon says people are buying 23mm broom handles to build this up. 29mm are also avallable. hubs' site recommends 32mm. Is 23mm enough?

Depends on what timber the poles are made from. I used 23mm ash which I cut from ash planks and it works perfectly. If you can find ash broom handles then 23mm is OK if they are made from pine something thicker may be better. Buy a pole and see how easy it is to bend and break. When disassembling, can individual triangles be removed complete with covering intact?

depends ...if you cover only triangles then yes ...if you have cover in one piece then you remove cover first and disassemble dome ...thanks

In the box all you need to connect parts together. The size of dome is limit of your imagination. Plus the timber used to build mutual not weigh more than 30 kilos. Heavier than that and the joints may fail. Having said that my dome is over 9ft high and 12ft in diameter. Have fun they are amazing
