Simple, genius product
I had finger surgery three months ago. And this joint straightener has worked better than any splint My physical therapist has made for me. It works within minutes and I use it many times a day. It’s perfect and genius.

Straightens your finger
It works to straighten the fingers. Unfortunately my issue isn’t cured with it and the fingers bend up again after taking it off. However I still use it and it helps with the pain for a short time.

Works great, even for longer fingers
Absolutely perfect! I am 6'5" with large hands. I dislocated my pinky finger in a game and had to straighten it. Despite my longer fingers, this product worked great. I've been using it for about a week and already seeing a noticeable difference in the angle of my joint, maybe a 10 degree correction already. Definitely does the job!

Joint straightener, could be better for larger fingers.
I purchased this to use on my little finger after the plastic joint jack (issued by my OT) developed a crack and she was unable to order a replacement. The issue is contracture due to adhesions from flexor tendon repair. It is very tricky to keep the finger aligned while tightening the screw. The bottom "cradle" for the finger is uncomfortable no matter how you slice it. I actually have to reverse the unit (long side toward the wrist) in order to use it at all. The screw has slow travel when putting in on and taking it off, there is no quick release. The head of the screw is small, making it more difficult to turn as you tighten. Is it better than nothing? Yes, for me it is. Is it made of quality materials? Yes, it appears to be. Will it last a long time? Probably. Is it affordable? Yes, most definitely. Is it easy to use? No, not for me. Am I keeping it? Yes, for all of its shortcomings, it is another arrow in the quiver. Is it the best option on the market? Not in my case. Bottom line, if you are on a budget and/or if this unit fits your hand well, you won't go wrong with this item. (I'm leaning toward buying a replacement for the gray plastic unit, even though it cracked after about 6 months. It is more comfortable, easier to use, faster to put on, allows you to see the joint angle better while in use, lets you increase the tension click by click, and has a quick release. Most importantly, I made more progress in straightening the joint with the first one. On the down side, it is $95.)

Brings relief!
My husband broke his finger and it now won’t lay straight out. This joint straightener works great and allows his finger to lay straight. He said it brings him relief and he’s very happy with it.

Does not work
Doesn’t work!!! I bought this to straighten a bent finger after surgery. It has not worked one bit. My finger is still bent. You can tighten it all the way, and your finger will still slip in there as well. Not a good product.

Great trigger finger option post surgery
My hand surgeon loves the option. You can only wear if for a short period but well worth it. I recommend adding tape on both sides, so it doesn't jab your skin
