10 x F Plug Connectors Screw ON for Satellite TV Sky NTL Cable by PoundMax

Some might get a bit uptight when their ten F Plugs turn up effectively taped to a compliment slip. Don't worry. Blame Royal Mail and the stupid Letter, Large Letter and Packet categorizing of our Mail in the UK. Simply packing them that way allows cheaper postage whereas you would have to pay Packet rate (about £2.70 for First Class JUST for posting alone) if they were loose in a envelope. It also keeps them together ready to be used. So what you get are some nice cheap F Plugs - and I mean cheap as in not expensive! Good quality, work well and I have a few to stick away in the tool box for the future.

These connectors all seem pretty much the same, but they vary quite a bit in their ease if connecting up and their quality or noise of connection. I had bought these as a budget connector and was pleasantly surprised. They screwed on to the coax well and have been providing a good connection in a loft with quite a variance in temperature. Good product for anyone but the mega fussy using high end kit.

Moved in to a new build property that had 4 rooms pre-wired for TV aerial, plus 1 Sky and 1 FM coax run to the living room. In the loft all 6 bare ends of the coax were left coiled, with no aerial. I purchased a loft aerial and a splitter with F-type terminals. These plugs were to be used to wire up the coax cables, and aerial fly lead to connect to the splitter. However when I tried to fit them they were not big enough to fit over the outer part of the 6 coax cables installed in the house. I had to shave some outer cable off in order to get them to fit. The plugs did fit the cable I purchased for the aerial though. The screw side is fine, and fits well to the splitter unit, but the F-type screw is standard fitting so this behaviour is expected. After modding the cables, and fitting this plugs; the TV signal in all rooms is fine.

Poundmax makes you think of the Pound shop items, but these F Plug connectors are very well made,easy to use and work perfectly. I used these to make up some leads using RG6 cable which is very good quality copper inner and shielding and pretty thick and had no problems at all. These are a very popular item and with good reason. Happy to recommend.

Paid next to nothing for these and thought "yeh, it will do - maybe" How wrong could I be! My apologies to the suppliers and manufacturers for thinking this, they are great quality - what more can I say apart from buy them is you need them, and if you don't need them, just buy them and be amazed at what a great good quality bargain they are, bring them out at dinner parties, have them framed or put in a display case together with the receipt!

nothing much else to say about these connectors. They are pretty standard and when I bought them they were the best value available. If they were still the best value and I needed more I would buy them again.

A good product that works well - used most of them to reconfigure our multi-head satellite stuff last year - no problems since. Work very well if you are used to this connector type - might help you to practice a bit before doing it for the first time. Highly recommended, and good value at £1.10 post free.
