I bought this robot for my song, who was into robotics and programming. My son learned python by using this robot, he also had a great time programming and building it. It's not only useful or fun for only kids, it is also a challenge for adults. I used this robot, and I also created a few codes to go along with the robot. The robot is not cheap feeling, but high quality. The seller had great videos that were useful to build the robot. There were also videos on every single step of building and programming. The videos also taught you how to code/program with subtitles. The robot is on the pricy side, but it is worth for the features that it offers. The robot could scan and detect objects in front of it, which I thought was pretty unique and cool. The robot had live-time responses when you move the joystick. The robot can also be controlled by your phone, using an app. The robot is very durable and strong, and I've had no problem with it. I've used it indoor and outdoor, and it works great on both places. It can even drive in cold temperatures. The robot can navigate itself very intelligently, and perfectly. The robot can also detect things in front of it really fast without hitting the object. My son created a maze for the robot, and programmed it to run through, and it perfectly went through the whole maze without hitting anything. The robot not only detects but also identifies objects, you can view the camera by connecting it to a laptop or pc. The lidar can achieve perfect mapping, and color, which is impressive for the price. When the robot is mapped onto an object, you can tell it to follow that object, and it will follow the object. There is also a ode called an autopilot, where the robot can run by itself without any code. My son faced problems when building the robot, but quickly resolved it. He built the robot in two hours because of some mistakes he made. The manual for the robot was easy to read and very helpful to use to construct the robot. My son also used the voice module board to program the robot to conduct commands like Alexa. The voice module was very fast in response, and a very creative item for this robot. A very cool feature is that you can control/look at the robot from two phones. This feature is very limited in many robots or toys that are manufactured in the world. My son used python to program the robot, and exceed the limits of the robot. He used a lot of help, which are the videos, and they were very helpful throughout the way. I used the technical support, they are very fast in response and help you on the problem really fast. I bought the Yahboom Jetson Nano version, this version has a very fast processor. The thick motors are very solid, and can move a lot of weight very easily and fast. The robot also has RGB lighting at the back, and you can customize the patterns that it shows. It can create really cool light shows. The code for the RGB is pre-coded, so you don't have to worry to code it. The robot also comes with a really big and powerful battery. It can hop up, and run the robot for a very long time without a charge. Once the robot is built, it feels very solid, and very hard for the robot to break. The frame feels like metal, and walls can't damage the robot. I highly recommend this robot to anyone who wants to have fun in their free-time and want to learn python. The manufacturer has thousands of videos on how to could and program the robot. They have very detailed step to step process about the robot. The robot is not only a challenge for kids, it is also a challenge for adults. If you buy two, you can work side-by-side together, and there are also a lot of cool features regarding two of these robots. This was one of the most unique robots I've seen, and I'll try to buy another one when possible.

(Written from the perspective of a software guy) It's a great robot, comes with everything you need to get into hardware. Customer service was great. Just wish the documentation was better. For example, documentation did not specify that the wiring should be done before hand.Anyway, highly recommend this robot to get started in mobile robotics.
