They are non-toxic. I have purchased a great many for my grandchildren. I reccommend them enthusiastically!

Idk!! But one thing I do know. I bought it for my son & it's tiny like really tiny!!! We were expecting something bigger!!! Very unhappy with the sz. For the amount we paid!
