Power 1 Castrol 4T 10W-40 Motorcycle Oil 4L

Annual oil change using this product. Not cheap but well recommended so reassured I am taking care of the engine.

I ordered this for my CBF600 commuter. I have used products are far greater price than this in the past and I can't justify the spend when I'm doing so many miles every month. The Castrol POWER 1 4T 10W-40 Four Stroke Motorcycle Engine Oil is of equal quality as those over priced premium products out there and my bike is very happy! I have used a standard oil to save money... and the bike let me know it was unhappy very soon after the oil change, so I know what I am talking about. I shall be using this oil from now on!

Worth it. I ride a Honda125 CBF and this amount is still going on August, albeit it’s near the end. Not to say, I’ve haven’t had any problems with my engine with this oil

I have used this oil for my trusted 1999 Honda CB500s since new, every time I change the oil as it gives me peace of mind and I'm sure the bike appreciates it !! It has covered just under 8000 miles, and looks great. The accelleration is quick, sweet and smooth. What more can I say, other than the oil plays a big roll in keeping the bike running well and I like the brand.

My motorcycle has a 1000cc oil capacity which works out great for the sizes of oil bottles; 4000cc in this big bottle works out to 4 oil changes (just about) that way. It needs changing every 3000 miles, or topped up every now and then as it does burn oil this bike. Completely normal with the class of single cyl bikes it's in, just uses a bit more oil. No smoke or anything. I've never had issues with Castrol 4T. It's very clean, doesn't smell, no clumps or bits, pours super smooth and the built in pouring 'funnel' really helps keep things clean and tidy. I bottle up my used oil in 1l bottles until the 4l bottle has been used up. It then all goes back into the big 4l bottle to be taken to my local recycling centre where I can give them the whole bottle of used oil. Really convenient and effective at reducing plastic waste. Castrol does have a weird claim on the side of the bottle where it claims it provides 'Faster Acceleration'. I'm certain this is some marketing rubbish as gears dictate this, not the oil quality. Though, I'd expect the oil to be super slippy and lube everything up regardless of how slippy it is. So take that claim with a grain of salt. Buy good quality oil, it's not worth the risk of damaging your motorcycle with poor quality oil. This is the stuff to get if your bike's bible says to use 10W-40.

Always use this oil on all motorbikes and scooters, never had any problems, engine nice and quiet, keeps clean longer than other oils
